- It's the season when the plants and trees are full of life and shine.
Weeds have grown thickly in the garden of the old private house.
Pruning overgrown trees, cutting the grass, and dealing with the bugs I hate... looking after a large garden is hard work.
But flowers bloomed one after another in that garden, and gardening became my time of healing.

We are a family of three who quit a company and migrated to an old private house in the foothills of the Northern Alps.
Nagano, which we visited while traveling in a camper we purchased at the end of our 30s.
The Northern Alps attracted us and we decided to migrate there.
In November 2023, we started our life in the land of our dreams.
I hope you enjoy watching Ayako, her husband Shin, and their daughter Yuri live a leisurely and comfortable life in a place they are not accustomed to.

Oh hun, next time you make sauce try this....put your onions in first, when they cook down and are translucent add your garlic. After peeling your tomatoes, be sure to take a spoon and pull out the seeds, then add the tomatoes to the onions and garlic and use a little Italian seasoning. I cook mine on low about two hours. 😊
Oh my goodness, I know how you feel my dear!! After I got married and moved out to the suburbs from the city, I planted a garden.
All I had was a pitchfork and hoe.
The ground is very clayie here and hard from the heat. Like today, it's suppose to be 105 degrees.
You have too many clothes on, I had shorts, t-shirt and sandles with a straw hat 😂😅 but I got it done and at 65 have enjoyed many years now of gardening 😊

いい季節になりましたね。 刈り取った雑草､草が出易い所に敷いておくと雑草、出にくいですし土がふかふかになります。処分するのは勿体無いです。 悠々さんの所から多分近いと思いますが、企業さんの「エアー・ウォーター」 にリサイクル土「ココスラブ」を頂くことが出来ますよー 畑に敷くと草が出にくいです。
私は､このシーズン何回も頂きに行きます。車で30分ほど掛かりますが、とても良い土ですよー

Sono italiana.... Con il pomodoro crudo frullato puoi fare un ottima insalata di pasta fredda. Aggiungendo al pomodoro tanto basilico olive mozzarella ed un cucchiaio Maionese. Metti tutto in frigo per 2 ore e mangiala. Ti consiglio le penne😊

Delightful video. Where I live in California we only prune our trees in the winter when the life giving sap is dormant.
I remember my sister taking me to the rice fields by our house to watch the workers planting rice by hand in 1955. Fascinating for a little girl about Yuri’s age. Pleasant memories of carefree days in Japan.

Looks nice now that the snow is gone 😎. For the rocks try a heavy duty rake or shovel or combination of the 2 to move, until you come to an agreement with the bugs.
Yes the initial effort to create a garden is lots or work, put pencil to paper and sketch out phase 1, 2, 3. For instance around the base of the plum tree, remove weeds and grasses half meter around, then add nutrients so it grows lots of fruit. Clear similar around your flower beds.
Look into creating a compost area for the grass, trimmings, weeds, so next year you can spread it out to help the soil in the spring. Not sure if you can have a burn pile for the fall. Keep it away from the house because of bugs, flies etc.

お勧めに出てきて、最初の景色が田舎の長野に似ていると驚いていたら長野でしたね。梅の剪定時期はまだまだかと。うちにも四本あり慣れるまでは時間がかかりましたが今は楽しんで剪定をしています。あーうちも庭の草取りをしなくっちゃです。悠々暮らしさん頑張ってますよね。凄いなあ。

春先 庭造りをされていたんですね。
確かに 暖かくなると 雑草が伸びる増えるを繰り返します。
こまめに 草取りと剪定を私も やっておりますが 結構 疲れる仕事でして、、。😭これから 少しずつ 変わって行く庭を見られるのですね。楽しみにしています❤

You can use a shovel to move rocks so you don't have to be close to bugs. I see you have Lily of the Valley flowers. I love them and they smelll so nice. You can pick a small bouquet and have them inside your house. I add basil and oregano to my tomato sauce, but yours looked very good. It's great that Yuri gets to see how rice is planted. This is the time of year that you can really enjoy your garden. Didn't you buy rose bushes recently in the camper videos?

完熟トマト良いですね。しかもかなり質が良さそうです🤤🤤。学生時代1袋（５～６個入ったトマト５０円）を良く買って帰って食べたのを思い出しました😊因みに農業高校で会社だったら社内販売みたいな感じですが昔でもトマト１個３０円以上していたと思います。
とっても美味しいトマトです🍅✨
