    I dont know why, but the thing I remember after 5 minutes:
    Lots of triangles and pyramids are drawn and move fancy through spacetime.

    Being a Blueprism developer, I can safely say this Software is really powerful. But the problem arises due to lack of robust community. Knowledge is there. But to seek it, we may require some good analysis and patience. Blueprism is the best RPA tool out there.

      @@christophrichter2612 I worked on UiPath before BP. I understand the optics of both. UiPath has the largest market, thanks to its aggressive marketing. But I feel the command control and deployment is better in BP. Biggest drawback I would say is the one developer at a time. Apart from that its easy to code and easier to maintain. The nested conditions and loops in UiPath might look complex to a new developer. But in BP its much more simpler. I dont really miss the record feature at all lol.

      This guy looks and talks like a robot. It's the outcome of the new software paradigms: scrum, agile,... etc where creativity was kicked out of the software engineering endeavor. Sad indeed!

      because Blueprism would take place of many people who are doing repetitive process work in the company like BPO industry.
      They would lose their job because of it
      So the BGM indicates that

Your fathers now have a 40 hour work week. When you grow up, because of technology, you'll have a 20 hour work week." Instead, we have two income households where both now work 40 hours+. I'm all for us going to a 20 hour work week where tech does the mindless work for us.

      @@joetrapp9187 Whilst I get what you are saying, the room for manoeuvre is less than decades ago. I spent over 15 years of my working life in IT, and see all the positives in new tech. BUT..... The level of de skilling taking place is sharpening the jobs pyramid to a point. The Craft skills for your average Joe are no longer required. People have to feel they are of so e worth. Please remember the luddites, they didn't just hate the spinning Jenny, it's the social fabric (pun) of their life that they were fighting for. Moved from tight family business in the countryside, into disgusting slums. It's always the thoughtless application of new technologies, not the technologies themselves. This led to Marxism communism .... Well you know the rest

    Let's all sit in the garden, drink cider and watch the world go pop, what is this? ... You no longer need people to do jobs? ... A virtual workforce? ... One question? .... Do they need a sandwich?

    • @matthewstafford6504
      @matthewstafford6504 6 лет назад +2

      Not a bad outcome in theory but how will you buy cider if you have no job to earn money? ;)
      It's an interesting point of discussion.
      It would appear that the aim is to replace people in order to cut costs and deliver some of the key points called out in the presentation, but I am trying to work out who the customers would be if nobody has a job, and nobody can earn money?
      The only long-term theory I have is that we will all become sales people, and competing to sell our automated robotic products to each other, is how we will survive. It's a long way off and thankfully it wont happen in my lifetime. but eventually we will become redundant. The only other jobs that will remain are those which cannot be replaced by robots or software but I am struggling to think of a single thing that couldn't be replaced, or any other way to earn money if there are no traditional jobs, can you?

    • @minuteman747
      @minuteman747 6 лет назад

      I would ferment apples in the garden and make my own bread, grinding grain, I do not need a virtual workforce, I can survive.

    I don't trust the guy. At first it looks like an interesting idea presented by a true nerd. Look closer and all you see is a meaningless animation by a strangely speaking guy wearing a pricey and flashy outfit. - Usually, nerds don't hold value to the latter and invest the money in their tech. This guy seems to use money mainly for himself, not for his ideas.
