I found your review for this coffee maker before buying it from Amazon. I’ve had it for four days and I’m constantly having to wipe water off the warming plate. After having our morning coffee and waiting a while, lift the lid to remove the filter basket with old grounds. Water immediately starts dripping from the basket the minute we raise the lid and if we’ve already remove the pot so we can wash it, the water drips all over the warming plate. We also tried removing the basket first and then the pot but water keeps dripping onto the plate. The tank was essentially empty since we had already brewed our coffee. Then when we try refilling the tank to 8 cups to set the maker up for the next brew, it starts leaking again. Searching some reviews on this maker, we have found that others have had this issue. Will be returning back to Amazon.
Exactly. This is the challenge with a review that uses a product once. I have had this coffee maker for exactly 3 days and its going back and if I can't return it I'm throwing it in the dumpster. After EVERY SINGLE pot of coffee, when you tilt the lid up to change the filter, water runs ALL over the place - onto the warming plate - down the side onto the counter. I am baffled how a factory puts this out. Clearly, they only made one pot to test it also... hard pass.
Thanks for the review. I have the same coffee machine. I just want to ask you a question. How can we warm up the coffee machine again after the countdown finished? I mean is there a setting for increasing the heat of coffee again?
This one but it only does ground coffee, the ninja dual brew pro will dispense hot water and will do k cups so if you need that then the Ninja is better.
Another great coffee maker review! I'm in the market for a new drip machine and have watched dozens of your videos already. This is now on my shortlist with the Braun BrewSense and Mr Coffee (cant decide on an exact model). Thoughts on how these stack up against each other? or any other general recommendations under $150?
My husband always uses paper filter with the cone. I try to tell him he doesn’t need it but he won’t listen. Do u have a reason not to use both? Thanks!
i believe you can’t use both kinds of filters at the same time because the coffee won’t drain through the layers of filters quickly enough, and it will basically over flow!

That’s a nice drop coffee maker. It would definitely look better in the iconic KitchenAid red, but still nice & also good that it brews tasty coffee.
