hi Ferdy, I had tried a few other tutorials but yours was by far the best one. I was able to create the basis of my website using both Elementor and the Phlox theme. I also added the "Elements" AddOn to Elementor so that I could use the animated text widget. In case you haven't seen it it's name is "EAE - Animated text".
Now I'm just trying to tinker the site so it looks ok on tablet and mobile too.

Dank voor je tutorial. Een en ander gaat zeer snel en de pauze knop moet vaak worden ingedrukt, terugspoelen ook en afspelen op tragere snelheid. Bij vergelijkbare tutorials (fotografie) is de muis-“pint” een geel cirkeltje zodat je veel beter kan volgen waar je klikt. Dat kan dus beter.
Ander punt van grote verwarring is het creëren van nieuwe webpages. Ofwel in Dashboard (boven aan ofwel via linker kolom), ofwel via de menu (linker kolom), of via de website general setttings. Het gevolg hiervan is dat deze nieuwe pagina de ene keer wel zichtbaar zijn, de andere keer niet. Ook de lay-out is telkens anders.
De leercurve is zeer stijl, en het is soms heel moeilijk te volgen.
Great tutorial - a few differences in Elementor since 2017 but still intuitive.

i cropped the image 1920x1080 and when in elementor i upload the image and i create one row on 51:50 video time. and in section it doesn't show background image. only show image inside row. very small. please help me i am stuck on that point

@@ferdycom Dang, looks like Phlox has decided to keep several of the features you used saved for the PRO version now! Shame you can use the animation options on regular templates with the free version of Elementor, but with Phlox you can't...oh well. It is a nice template has tons of features. I have been working with The Gem another great template, but it uses WPBakery and I don't like it as much as Elementor from what I'm seeing. Thanks again for the full walk through!

Hi Ferdy, Thanks for your great work. I followed along with how to make website mobile responsive, and it looks fine on Elementor, however when I go into inspect mode with chrome browser and try different tablet sizes and phone sizes, the website text looks jumbled on some devices, and some images get really small on the retina displays. So I'm wondering if Elementor's responsive design feature is too limited or buggy. Any ideas how to fix this issue?
Hi, even when you play around with the settings for tablets and retina displays? I will take a look soon with a retina display. I am planning on making a tutorial about Elementor and Responsive designing.
Two questions:
1. Is there a setting for editing specifically for retina display? My issue is that I have overlaid a product image and headline text over the generic hero background, and the retina devices are shrinking the product image 50%. I can't just add a larger product image as it looks huge on non-retina displays.
2. Do you know of a (plugin, css, php) way to make headlines more responsive (adaptive) to real world screen sizes? Elementor gives you three responsive views (desktop, tablet, mobile). The problem is these are generic sizes and don't seem to scale well with all of the many different screen sizes available. Chrome lets you inspect with many different device views and Elementors limitations become apparent mainly at the transition areas between small laptop to tablet and tablet to phone.

Great video! Many thanks! I have a question though.. I added my logo to the header, but when I scroll the page the logo shrinks a bit but then it´s cut in half... the logo is not shrinking small enough to fit the new size of the header. any clue?
Hi Claudio, thank you! You can do two things. Change the size of the sticky header. Increase it. Or decrease the width of the logo at site identity while customising the site. Goodluck!
