    Strange bass, same size with a precision but short scale because of the bridge position..

      Well spotted. I moved the bridge forward to the back of the scratch plate to bring the scale down from 34 inches to 31 inches. Thanks for watching.

      @@duendedude2345 Ok, but you have to change frets positions according to 31" scale then..

      @@strat0871 You need to have an unmarked neck with no fret markings . The dots on the side of the neck need to be blacked out and new ones painted on. The positions for these can be found using a tuner or by ear. See my video on short scale P bass mods for more details.

      @@duendedude2345 Yes, but better than a tuner by ear, some mathematical formula exists for each scale to find the right position of each fret..

      @@strat0871 I don’t mark all fret positions. I just place a dot on the edge of the neck at the 3rd ,5th, 7th, 9th, and 12th positions as a general guide . It falls into place with hand positioning and using your ear.
