Cheap meters have gotten alot better. things I don't like is they usually have odd ball fuses that are hard to find, the leads are usually kinda junk and the input protection is usually lacking. But for 12/24 volt every meter should be totally fine. 20 bucks not bad! You got a contact name over there asking for a friend 😉
It is a basic, simple, and easy to use meter, functionality of switches akin to fluke, snap on, etc. It doesnt have 2 dozen selections going all the way around switch to choose from. Will function as intended, backlight bright, definite solid starter unit for sure!
Working with an ac/dc amp clamp rms one right now. Will have vid up sometime soon I hope. But as for a 20 dollar meter the crenovo was definitly not a bad option
Well, gave this little meter t a guy we had apprenticing in the shop a year and half ago since all he had was hft analogue meter that i made him throw away
Not necessarily bias, just compared it to what i had on hand to check accuracy on the crenova to show yes it does work and yes it is accurate, and yes, for beginner, hobby, diy, home, will work. Someone starting out does need something simple and auto ranging, do they need a $400 fluke out the gate, no.
Not sure which is better, the video or the beard. This fella and justin atv best beards on youtube!
lolol, we try!
Seems like a good little meter to throw in tool box. Dont have to worry about it getting covered in grease
very true, works considereably well for what it costs, but at same time, if you lose or break it, well, not out too much lol.
👍👍
thanks for watchin bud!

The leads look nice
Not bad for the money.
Would be a great starter unit to lurn on.

Not a bad meter for the cost
yup, for what it can do, it sseems to be nice package deal for sure for everything you get along with it. thanks for watching!
Very nice alligator clips
Cat 2 on the tips and cat 3 on the bottom of the leads that's odd
What's the next one you'd recommend if you're willing to spend 50 bucks?

So there’s no way to tell polarity? Shoot
Well gotta remember this is a 20 dollar meter, fluke 117 is a good mid grade not too expensive option that has that capability
@@BeardedSeabee82 It does show reverse polarity. Hook up the leads backwards and you’ll see the negative

I have one kind of similar to that
How do you like it thus far?
@@BeardedSeabee82 it's pretty nice, handled just about everything I've thrown at it!
A very bias review. Not everyone can afford a $120-$200 meter for shade tree work and this is a great beginner meter

I spent more on worse, we have all been there.
lol, yup, it happens sooner or later. Thanks for watching Pat! I hope that youve been doing well and had a good weekend
