0:50 that's a good coach. Yes he completely owned the dork, but at the same time never stopped being a coach. Tried his best to teach the guy being a bully and fighting on the streets will get you nowhere, showed him some moves, and also at the end said, "I'm going to let you try and hit me." which is basically a free instruction. Again, good coach.
Have to remember he likely teaches a lot of cocky young fighters and they have to have their asses beat and guided in the right way.

Big respect to the coach at elite boxing. Never stopped being professional, never stopped giving the guy solid advice and giving him a way out.
The greatest fight I have ever seen was a 5ft tall old Irishman who knocked out a 6ft 7ish bodybuilder type guy who was being a creep with a woman at the bar. He completely knocked the bloke spark out with one punch, a Blink and you miss it type of movement. Never underestimate someone's fighting ability.

The biggest reason that stops me from being a "tough guy" is that i am terrible at fighting the last time i got in a fight was before i turned 10 and it was with my cousin
Last and only fight I ever had was with a guy who was the school nerd. He decked me. Next day when I sobered up and realised my embarrassment I paid him a small fortune to keep quiet about it.
Don't be a tough guy, but you should absolutely invest in self defense classes. Always be prepared, especially these days.

I thank my dad who was a golden glove holder in the NAVY for getting me into boxing! Been doing it for 5 years now
Started doing it last year as a way to get in shape after neglecting my health for 9 years after the Army. Best workout and so much more mentally engaging than anything else I had tried. Love all the little intricacies when it comes to footwork, shifting weight, hand placement, etc. Truly the "sweet science".

There are vets who would go out of their way to change into civilian clothes just to avoid attention.
As a volunteer instructor in the army cadets, I get a UK MoD ID and the discounts that come with having an army service number, but I don't go around flashing it off, partially because it's generally advised we don't for security and safety reasons, but also because I feel like because I haven't done proper service I don't have as much of a right to, and I maintain my respect for the regulars and reservists doing a much finer job than I.

You don't have to be in ROTC in college to sign up for military service and become an officer; you just need a degree and then go to OCS. I didn't go to ROTC in high school and was still able to join the Army. I also had a buddy who forwent becoming an officer, he had a college degree, because he got the Army to pay his student loans off; I woud have still gone to OCS as officer pay is better.
