As a life long movie critic, and film geek, even game geek but we are not talking about games. I give this movie a 10/10 the acting 10/10 I saw no flaw in this movie for a Batman movie honestly. Also I know that she said she hated they didn’t show joker fully in the Batman but it’s for a good purpose the suspense was still there. Riddler is the main villain and this performance would’ve stole the show off Riddler I mean because he’s the joker, he rules all of them honestly, he’s the mastermind villain. We’ll get more of Barry soon but for now we got this to look on
Multiple reasons to cut this scene: 1) It would take away too much attention from the Riddler 2) The Joker gives away too much of the plot & Riddler's motivations 3) It makes the Batman less of a detective, by getting so much info from the Joker.
I love this Joker! Joker has been my favorite villain since I was a kid but he never scared me or creeped me out. That's no longer the case; I am officially creeped out. This guy is terrifying! And that laugh? That laugh sends shivers down my spine.
I think having 2 arkham interrogation scenes that were almost the same would have felt redundant. Plus this would have taken away from Danos Riddler in my opinion.
More the idea shorten the car chase. Like loved the scene just it went alittle long because when watching the scene you knew what was going to happen so shortening that scene meant you could get back to the main story quicker
Not the car chase scene just cut out the joker cameo at the end with Paul Dano or some of the club stuff, but honestly the movie works with or without this scene, this scene ki da takes away from the rest of the movie tbh because if this was in the movie its all people would be talking about
That is very true. I do feel it’s such an exciting scene and if he kept having to go the joker multiple times like he did calendar man in the comics it would have been really interesting in the movie.
@@GalaxyGeeks the reason they cut this scene in the movie guys is because Riddler is the main villain, you can’t tell me that after seeing this scene you would’ve still cared about Riddler absolutely not because joker would’ve stole the show tbh. Also this is detective Batman and it seems like he’s asking joker for help. That would’ve changed the story of the whole movie with him asking joker for help although I would’ve refilmed this and made it an end credits scene taking place months ago where Batman visit joker and talk but it wouldn’t have been about Riddler though, maybe a little would’ve been but not all

I loved The Batman this movie was so flawless I felt everything was paced perfectly. I see why Matt Reeves left this out it would have taken so much away from Paul's Riddler and everyone would have been comparing it to Heaths or Jquan's performance. This definitely played out like Silence of the lambs Hannibal meeting Clarice just that electricity and performance cant wait for the Batman 2
When it comes down to being a critic like myself you have to really sit down and allow yourself to think for a bit and analyze the movie from a different standpoint than your own. Most of these wannabe critics know nothing about being a true critic they just talk and run on at the mouth and because they got a huge following people will listen like they know what they are talking about lol, that disgusts me… love you guys reaction though. You can tell he gained inspiration like he should from joker actors before him to bring this one alive, 10/10 acting for sure… People find any reason to hate on something they don’t truly know about yet smh but it’s rare to find those that really take the time to understand, now that’s a real smart critic:)

This joker that I just found out is that he has a disease, in the comics he feel into acid but Matt switches it around to give it a more understanding take I’ll say… joker been this way he didn’t turn this way, I’m guessing he was ridiculed and it made him insane
Hmmmm most likely. I just always enjoy when it comes to the idea of Joker one bad day. That this guy was a normal guy but one bad day can turn anyone into a monster. Just I wanna see more of this joker and what routes they go with him as more of a force in Gotham then just the main villain. But loved the movie and thank you for subscribing to the channel can really tell your able to really analyze film in a really intelligent way :) can’t wait for your thoughts on the next reaction we do :)

I don’t mean to get preachy but one thing God tells us to do is LOVE, one small act of kindness can change even the coldest of hearts because you showed them something they never actually received. Looking at these villains and how they are shown goes to show you that they are all dealing with hurt but Joker, man he already reached his breaking point to the point he can no longer feel remorse I’ll say. See Riddler is more of a baby man but is still a dangerous person imagine when we see him again years from now, whew 😰 I just love how these movies take a stand on real life, some may say you can’t compare movies to real life trust think hard enough and you can, there’s so much similarities
Great review but I feel this scene was not necessary. I feel people are so intrigued with the Joker that it would have pulled away from the final product of the film. This is about Batman, based around a world new to Gotham, a stark figure living riddles and killing people. There's a reason they went with a popular character not used for 27 years. Yes, Joker does exist but it does not need to be a staple in the film.

I can understand how you feel. We should have explained alittle more. The car chase scene was awesome but we both felt it went a little long and didn't progress the plot. Like when watching the scene its super exciting just you know how the chase has to end. But thank you commenting :)

The scene was deleted because:
1. It gave away Riddler`s motivations too quickly.
2. A lot of Batman fans have "Joker burnout"
