The emphasis of his speed in this game is placed on boosting because it acts more like a sprinting system than an Unleashed thru Forces boost. The devs intended his base running to be the walk/jog equivalent and holding boost is like holding swing in a Spider-Man game. It’s the main method of movement rather than just a cool powerful option you have like the other titles that give you somewhat reasonable non-boost speed. In fact the speed stat only affects the speed cap of the boost, lots of players thought that the speed stat didn’t affect movement speed and was only for climbing.

Ok..im not usually one of those fans who complain over sonic renders and say these sonic renders looks bland,generic,lifeless, boring etc...(even through most of the renders looks fine and high quality and they do look fine to me but that's sonic community for ya always nitpick about insignificant details) but THIS... honestly needs some work and optimizatons so the quills on him do look normal atleast.
I like the gameplay improvements and some of the poses/key frames in the animations. But if we talk about the animations themselves, they're not that great, a lot of them feel stiff... But hey, practice makes perfect. I'd still like to know if there are options for customizing animations or models.
Sonic's head quills are more curved resembling the Dreamcast models, and the shoes having a bit more of a pointed end feels true to the Classic era design.

Lowkey the improved animation work in this mod kinda fixed what made Frontiers look so janky to me to me in the first place. I hate how Sonic used to just awkwardly snap to the correct pose when performing different actions in a row without a quick transition animation to tie it together. A hold-over of using the Forces model as a base I suppose but like they own the Generations and animations, just use that you numbnuts Sonic team

T-posing clones are a small hiccup compared to the other little animation additions I've noticed and trust me- I've spent an ungodly amount of time with Frontiers to know improvements when I see it no matter how small. Nah, he maintained control of his super form while unconciouss and reentered Earth's atmosphere safely. He lost the form before crashing into the floor but honestly at this point it must be a running gag of the series cause he got up just fine like in the adventure/unleashed games XD
I especially like this model because unlike most models that try to base them self off of adventure or whatever are better but this model feels like what Sega was TRYING to accomplish with the sonic model instead of changing the whole design philosophy

Quills are longer and adjusted, same with shoes. Animations are also different. Face was edited as well.
