    My Friend just bought one of these, so he sent me the link to your video so I could see what he bought. That's a nice little digital CRO.

    Congratulations, very good explanation.
    I just bought one of these and when I plug in the USB cable to recharge nothing appears on the screen, only the black screen appears.
    Should it show some information while charging while off?
    The other functions are apparently working.
    Do you want to know if the missing loading information is a defect or if this is normal?
    I appreciate if you can clear my doubts about the recharge of the internal battery.

    • @viocaia
      @viocaia  2 года назад +1

      It's just loading, there is no special software for it, a simple Li-ion controller taking care of the load.

    Have you tested this by testing 120V or 220V AC line voltage to see how clean the sine wave it? (or an Inverter??)
    It does seem that most (or all) videos on this model are consistent in that it does not handle 120 Mhz either at all or not in a stable manner.
    I wonder, have you tried the higher Mhz tests using a much better probe?
    I also have a Hantek MSO 5202D which I absolutely love! Obviously, I don't expect this cheapy to be anywhere near the accuracy of my Hantek, but I wonder if using the probe from the Hantek might get this handheld to work better at higher frequencies??
    Ideas?

      I don't have it anymore..I recall it is ok for low frequencies, excellent for audio !

    In order to be of any real use a scope needs two channels. My best scope is a Hantech USB scope but limit band width. I have a DSO 138 and 150. Hell I have a second DSO 150 kit I never opened.

    Can i mesure the voltage with high current
    Or possible to damage the oscilloscope

    • @viocaia

      You can measure until 400V AC with a 10x probe. For measuring current, you need a clamp adaptor.

    Can i mesure the curent with this oscilloscope

    • @viocaia
      @viocaia  7 месяцев назад

      Not quite, not directly. You need a shunt in series with the circuit and get the voltage from the shunt terminals, few millivolts. There are also kind of clamp adapters for oscilloscopes so you can measure current.
