Following a sax on guitar is very difficult. And Brecker’s phrasing is just mind bending to me. I enjoy seeing you play stuff like this, we indeed have a rich music history. Sometimes we need to look back to find inspiration.
More than excellent! Together with guys like Plini, Matteo Mancuso or Joshua Meder, i think you are one of the most interesting players currently. I hope you are releasing your own record some day soon. I'll be the first on TV queue.
Guthrie Govan should literally pray to this or to you on a daily basis! This is crazy. You made is sound like sax Holdsworth style, so smooth yet so precise !
@@chumbo Well I don’t work with a timer next to me… I also work on a lot of different things all at once. Like I mention I transcribed this 3 years ago… don’t remember exactly, probably a month….
@Chanvallon François Thx! That's more the answer I was looking for 😉. Even if very approximate, it helps to know the kind of dedication and patience required for such an amazing result!
Chanvallon François - I'd love know your opinion of Russian bass player Anton Davidyants cover of this same epic Brecker solo! Search "Anton Davidyants Peep". You guys are monster musicians.
Some of the shreddiest shredding I’ve ever seen.
Fantastic work.
You are incredible, man!
Great!

please make a video about how to set a tone like this
Super basic! Low gain, high treble, mids, and compression. Reverb and Delay for comfort.
Holy crap!? That's mad...just curious, how long did it +- take you to transcribe and master it the way you have for this video??
This solo has been on my roaster for a while. There is another version you can find on my channel.
@Chanvallon François doesn't answer the question, but whatever 🙄
