- We picked up a cool sample - this is a flexible OLED display, 6" diagonal. It's 1280p so looks great and is somewhat flexible. Could make for a nifty wearable board. It comes with an HDMI to MIPI converter which is also interesting.

This would be really cool for cosplaying characters with “screens” on their helmets or other clothing. Off the top of my head I’m thinking of Soundwave’s visor in TF Prime

Which manufacturer kindly sent you this sample F-OLED? Seems like it could be sourced alongside other SFF components like a raspberry pi to make a compact pc.

Iv been wanting something like that for many many years. Do u have a link where i can buy one. I wanted something like this that i could put on my windshield and inout night vision camera signal into the hdmi. So i can see whats in front of the car. Like as if it was a built in screen on the windshield. Thank you

Could DIY with one of these and a 3d printer. Either print the enclosure in TPU (flexible filament), or print it out of a hard plastic then mold it and cast one out of silicone.
This was my immediate thought.
Could u connect those side by side to lengthen it? For example connecting two more to the right of that one to elongate it ... I would like to make a banner type display that would probably be around 200 inches in length . I'm trying to figure out how to do it...any help would be awesome, thank you!

@Adafruit Industries I see that you have it connected to the PC right? Is it possible to make a wireless connection? Or connect the screen to some kind of bluetooth/wi-fi receiver and stream video there from PC?
You do have wireless HDMI setups but it’s expensive

Can you see through it while its playing videos? That would make excellent costume effects.
No, it's solid - you can't see through it.
@@bjornjuul You can't see thru it like glass but it definitely isn't 100% opaque. You can see an LED shine thru from the PCB on the table.
@@Shaft0 You're right - when looking closer at the footage, I now see that it's somewhat translucent, although not clear. I read the comment as whether the screen is completely transperant and can be seen through or not, and unfortunately it isn't - but I might have misread the intention :)

I wish the made this flexing screen with tablets and made it affordable so that students will had a perfect way of note taking digitally and thus reducing the need for book writings and that will help to stop deforestation which will definitely help our environment.

When everything becomes flexible, it means more durable...Meanwhile, we need more quality ones better than this, and touch screen support, and amoled, if it's inexpensive, just perfect then, and it means every thing becomes thinner. Mmm
