So, very, very, true. Ever since I started chanting a min. of 16 rounds daily, ( close to 9 yrs. ) i have never been happier, confident and content with my life, albeit, I am aware that 64 rounds daily is the goal and Krishna Prema is the reward
What i could understand is - The problems is that people are valuing things and achievements over people and relationships.

Very true! Radhanath Swami Maharaj mentioned similar thing when he was invited to meet executives in the House of Common. He said "Things are to be used and people are to be loved, but unfortunately we love things and to get then we use people". Such a profound statement.

excuse me, but your theory of conciseness is just a redefinition of the word without any definitive clarity. it is even more nebulous than the current understanding of the word. i would reccomend that you either invent a new one or use a word from another language/languages. sorry, but a tree is no more awake than a star. if you wish to extend conciseness to a tree, then i guess everything is alive too. conciseness looses any meaning when used this way. to even say that all life is conscious is to just broaden a term to the point that is means too much. dude, no. i suppose as a way to look at the world that is fine, but as a way to define the world, no. consciousness doesn't make anything any more or less alive, but once you apply it to all life it has no meaning at all.

pcuimac dunno, bugs me when folk try to apply sentience or consciousness to all life. the words just don't work that way, and for a reason. while very little separates humans from other animals being able to assess our actions as a species and as individuals and act on that information is separation enough, we are conscious. there are other concious species right here on earth. elephants, whales, even cattle on a ranch tend to recognize the location where the ranch takes the winter dead unless they are carted off outside range of the herd, which is why they are carted off outside the range of the herd, so they just see them go away and don't see where they lay. waterbuffalo(wildebeest) have been observed observing matriarch crossing paths where she died without crossing there. humans are not unique in so many emotional ways that it is insane, our uniqueness is in thinking that we are unique.
this version of consciousness is pretty common. elemental spirits, sculpting materials that "speak" to us, mother earth, anthropomorphism, etc etc.
unification is also a pretty common spiritual thing.. the point being that we're all part of something bigger and to focus on how things are similar rather than different
this type of rhetoric is in popular science as well with lines like "the pale blue dot" and "we're all space dust" although you really have to stretch it to connect the dots
