This is the only video that told me where the infrared remote sensor was on the TV! I couldn’t get it to pair at all at first and thought I bought a dud TV. THANK YOU!
I’ve done all these and it still says, Device not found. I have the white, solar remote, so it doesn’t have batteries to check. Now what do I do to try and establish a connection?
This is a great question. We actually have a bunch of Frame TVs on one wall in our factory and have the same issue. The only time it responds to the wrong TV is when you press the Power button to toggle between TV and art mode because at that moment the remote emits IR. To our knowledge, there is not a way to disable IR commands entirely, but a simple trick we used is we carefully cut a piece of electrical tap to put on the end of each remote to completely cover the black end of the remote that emits IR and that solved the problem. A low tech solution, but it worked and you can't even tell the hack we used.
@@DecoTVFrames thanks especially on the workaround; I was hoping that we could isolate it through pairing mode by IR signals as its in our living and kitchen room as 1 open area. If there is no technical solution from Samsung coming then we will return the 55" TV as it's not working out well.
@@DecoTVFrames hi - do you have any update on this topic? I’m planning to buy a second Frame TV but given its close proximity, guess my concern is real. How do people in the showroom deals with this I’m wondering. Thanks
Hello! Just bought a 2022 frame tv but the remote isn’t working! I tried pairing and nothing, resetting it and nothing, and now I am just letting it charge. It’s been half an hour and still not working. Do you have any tips to help me? I’ve seen people unbox it and the remote is automatically paired already, why not for me?
That's very bizarre. The reset THEN re-pair sequence seems to always work from what I've seen. Not sure why sometimes the remotes aren't paired out of the box, but we've seen it happen many times which is why we created the video on the topic.
Now that's an interesting question.... so if I understand correctly because you have a new remote that the TV doesn't recognize yet you can't powering on the TV to even get it to pair to the new remote? Ok I have a possible solution you can try ... the little black module for the infrared eye on the bottom right of the TV has a power button on the back side of it. Just reach your finger up and behind the back of that module and press forward toward you to manually power on the TV... from there then you should be able to pair the remote using the above video.
I'm sorry, but the above video is pretty much the extend of our knowledge on this topic. However, we do have this page with additional info on contacting Samsung's Support team directly to see if they can resolve your issue. You may have a hardware problem covered under warranty. help.framemytv.com/samsung-customer-service-number

Hi, i have the white remote. Can I connect it with any other samsung tv.
I’ve done all these and it still says, Device not found. I have the white, solar remote, so it doesn’t have batteries to check.

Does the light sensor on the tv work with one of your frames installed on the tv.
We have a brand new optional accessory we are about to release that will support the light sensor decotvframes.com/srs2

Hello i bought Samsung Tv 2022 QLED and the remote doesn't work. Please help?
We have 2 FRAME's in 1 room and both respond to both remote control's how do we isolate both Frame's to their own remote?
