I am not sure but i think gikuyu is not clear on who is "muthoni" to my understanding(pardon me bishop) my son- in-law is not my muthoni, nii ndandacirie kindu, he did not say a word throught the process, he is my son, it is his father who paid the dowry so he is the one who is my muthoni. Am I right? When my SiL comes home i treat him like my son, with respect but not fear. He can have my roof repaired or fence but not his father, he cant! Hes muthoniwa. Why is he then called "son" if he visits me like a refugee. My home is his home. Please clarify bishop.

About the man who want to marry a woman with four kids, what’s wrong with that? How can a so-called man of God, who want to be paid 20 per cent tithe for blessing a 10 million house advise against him marrying the woman because the kids do not belong to him? The kids belong to God. Whether they get more kids or-not, he can still father those kids and get blessings from the Almighty for taking care of God’s creation. I can’t believe a so-called man of God would have an issue with that.

Me i really wonder what is wrong with christians of present age, why mix issues, if you are in teadition, remain in tradition. If ur in Christianity remain in christianity. Muslims do all their things according to Koran, even their dowry is not according to where they come from or their tribe but according to Koran. Why is it that that christians when it comes to dowry they do according to tribe's tradition? Why not follow bible?. According to bible, a girl was betrothed when still at their home. The husband's family sent a token to betroth (engage) the girl. After that, wedding was done and nowhere did they go back several times to take dowry the way kikuyus do. Dowry in some traditions esp our kikuyu is business and evil. Huwezi nunua msichana. Again hakuna mahali tunaona Abraham akienda kwa kina rebecca kuwauliza kile atapeleka but he took what he wanted. Any other way isnt bibilical and that's why Paul says we should stop following traditions of men because they only lead you astray. I am a kikuyu na hizo vitu siwezi fanyia watoto wangu.
