- The orange light is on and the printer is not printing. After connecting to the computer, there is information in the driver: Scanner Error 52.0
It's a pretty strange situation because these printers don't have a scanner, but there is a solution that will fix your printer in ten minutes. You have an incorrectly installed or broken laser sensor in your device.

Very very thanks. You clearly shows "what you must do?." Almost all beginners might happen this. The other both videos for same error code for P1102 not shown even any sign or hint of this most important correction. Most probably purposely. That little plastic rod isn't there on my printer, now I have my printer apart and still don't know what's wrong with it. It worked earlier today and then stopped working. Error 52. Followed instructions in this video, but I cannot locate that small plastic arm shown at 3:06

Thanks a lot man, this fixed my printer after I opened it to clean the laser lens. After wise I had the red alert led on and I didn't know what's wrong. I thought I broke a cable after.

@@MrRicoh Yes I did. Thanks for your video. The red warning light went off. The prints come out pale though. I haven't used the printer for years but the toner was almost new and it does have ink when I checked. I don't know if toner ink degrades over time.

start with the most trivial thing and replace the toner with another one. describe what happens after replacing the toner. did it help?
Me pasó lo mismo.. y Vi tu vídeo... Pero no es necesario desarmar todo.. solo quitas la tapa de enfrente la que quitas primero.. y el quitas el plástico dónde va la pala quita, reacomodas, y pones el plástico de nuevo y la tapa y listo..

Make sure the toner is OK
when there is no metal casing below upper vcase v2 then no this black leverage. So in other cases - chip in driver for mirror lase dies. Need replacement.

I have an extremely easy solution to fix this problem all you have to do is turn the printer upside down and shake it a couple of times and you hear that little arm go back into place. Do this while having the toner door open.
Of course, this is also a good solution. Usually, coins and staplers also drop out.
Think about it, all he had to do is lift that little arm. So if you have the door open to the toner while it's upside down it will put that arm back into place

@@MrRicoh Napisałem do Pana na FB, ja mam tak jak koledzy wyżej. Nie mam tego wihajstra, zwanego laser sensor. Czy można jakoś drukarkę "oszukać" zasłaniając któreś oczko? Nie sądzę, że ten element "zginął"
