hey everybody and welcome back
architecture tutor here today we're
gonna have a look at creating awesome 3d
sections in Revit so now this is an old
video shot and but I think it's really
useful and I hope you guys like it first
you want to open up a floor plan and
create a camera view you 3d view camera
yeah right there looking horizontally
onto the direction that we want to cut
our section then turn on section box and
close all the hidden windows open on our
floor plan again and hey I'll be short
cut the tile windows double click the
mouse wheel to expand those now select
the section box come over to our floor
plan again
zoom out so we can see our section box
and just drag these control points in
like so so we were happy close off the
plan and now I expand out crop so very
happy with mix then about a section like
that really quickly make some graphic
changes I think display options to
consistent colors shadows cost shadow is
an average shadows on lighting bring
this back down to about 15 and hit apply
and okay and then lastly it's override
the earth material so it's just a solid
white massing in site site settings
click the earth material down to the cut
pattern make it solid and
color - why okay okay like so
last thing control select these section
box in the clock behind in the elements
and there you have it
