I like relics for the same reason, I can just enjoy it and pound on it without the guilt/concern of dinging it, already done, the ice has already been broken.

great guitar 🤗🤗 , pickups are very different , Fender seems more bright ,more output and a little more gain to my ears ,but wilkinson sound great, more tamed maybe but warm , i tried Fender cs69 on my V6 and went back to wilkinson (it is just a personnal prefference ) surely y could tame y little the sound with tone pots , it seems your luthier did a good job with shielding (but to be sure you must measure paint conductivvity ) , great sounds quality and great playing 🙂👍👍

Yes, the Wilkinson are very good. Sometimes I just gotta experiment to find out. I hope I can find a buyer for the Wilkinson pups and pickguard on eBay. Thanks for listening to my shootout. Rock on!
