- JOSH AND REAPER AND KEN AND CLINTON WORK THERE BUTTS OFF RESCUING ALL THESE KOI FROM A POND THAT THE HOUSE GOT SOLD AND THE NEW OWNERS DIDNT WANT THE KOI, SO JOSH IS BACK AT IT, AND IT WAS JUST A AMAZING RESCUE, WE GOT SOME TRULY NICE KOI FROM THIS. TRACY WILL BE AMAZED WHEN SHE COMES AROUND :)

The camera guy's (Mr. "Gimpy") technique and commentary was perfect. Would love for him to do more of this as his time permits.

I have a whole bunch of faith in you guys. 💯 Those are some absolutely beautiful Koi and considering what they went through, they all looked in really great condition. A few, were really eye catchingly stunning.. Thought your camera man did an excellent job, great quality video, great commentary. I stopped keeping fish 17 years ago when I lost my whole set up really suddenly to disease. I only kept guppies and mollies (considered a tropical novice fish in the uk) I loved the colours and breeding them. Watching you guys has really given me back that passion again and I plan to start up again. Just planning tank size and budget atm. So thank you so much for being my online family. Love you guys. I bet the King of DIY would love to take a few koi he recently built a pond and the koi they had available were babies. those would look amazing in his pond... But with travel restrictions he's in Canada makes it difficult...
He makes so much money from his channel he can buy them like everyone else. He does everything for himself. So unlike OFR
I love OFR you guys are such a joy to watch, working for the betterment to fishkeeping, hopefully people will see that owning a pond requires lots of work, and the novelty wears off, and then they need to call OFR...
OFR is way better than watching choreographed channels, including Tanked etc.
This is frickin real life and way more interesting.

Maybe invest in a set of hip waders for working those ponds. Nicely improvised to get all the fish out and back home to OFR though.

That's my sisters place! They are moving, and the new owners did not want to care for the koi, so the pond level was lowered to allow local pond rescues and buyers the opportunity to save the koi.
Was wondering what the story was for having to remove the pond. I know if I was the new homeowner I would have thought the Koi pond was a bonus! Beautiful fish.
I always enjoy koi rescues. Sometimes I have to do them around my area and my last one was also a 30” beast.
I noticed they were transported in fishing nets. I would love to help out your future rescues using a special net called a Koi Sock and it helps keep them supported while moving them so they don’t rip scales or fins. I know y'all only want to keep the huge koi, but there's a little red-headed one at 13:50 and a stunning black and white one at 14:10 that would be AMAZING to see grow out!! I can only imagine how they'll look when they're 30+ inches! 😍 Please consider keeping them!!

Nice. It appears you need a 3 to 4" fire hose (with a way to induce suction) to increase your depletion of the water.

Sounds like you have multi POND syndrome like me. It started with multi tank syndrome then the"horrible" affliction advanced into it's most aggressive form. The "fight" is real! 🤣

I can't imagine having these gorgeous koi and not being able to see them in the water! I am so happy they are going to be in an @aquascape pond! How old do you estimate the 32 inch fish to be? I realize that given the right conditions they can grow pretty fast, but still they must be several years old.
