Don't understand why it took decades for this to happen, but I really hope more of these European female metal singers start working with Amy Lee some more. Epica, WT, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, etc. have all worked or toured together in one capacity or another on multiple occasions, and they're all friends, too, so I never understood why Evanescence was never included in that.
I don't think that they're not including Evanescence, I think Evanescence excludes themselves. Amy is my all time favourite singer and she will always be. But she has always been known for keeping people on a distance, whether her fans or in this case colleagues. Regarding all I've heard and seen from the band, I think there's some truth in that...
Amy has some severe emotional issues, which is why her music is so heavy. Keeping people at a distance is a defensive mechanism. Honestly, one of her most healing friendships has probably been with Lindsey Stirling, given how they both have similar issues.
Everybody has been lamenting a collaboration. They finally give us one and ppl still complain! I think Sharon and Amy both had fun doing this and I for one was very happy to see them perform together! ❤

People forget they lived in 2 different continents ... And make vocal harmonies Is not as play instruments , in distance connected online ... Harmonies needs lot of Rehearsal together physically in the same Place to bind the voices to the best ...
Finally my dream come true, to see these two queens on stage,.. was one of my teenage wishes. Amy Lee looks so tiny next to that Amazon Sharon🤣. I admire them both and would love to see an official collaboration together sometime. 😍🥰

I have friends who live in Europe (Sweden) I can only imagine how much better concerts are over there than in the US. I put a vacation to Europe on my Bucket List and hopefully will experience this someday

Amazing! When they combined voices, it created a new whole of something. And that something was instantly more powerful and awesome than either of them could hope to be alone.
I just think Amy needs to take a break and rest her voice she's been touring a whole year. In the beginning and middle of tour she sounded amazing and she was hitting notes so effortlessly. When Amy and Lizzy would sing together it was incredible and Amy wasnt having any troubles. I'm not saying this performance was bad but she's clearly struggling to sing but it still sounded good. I hear sometime next year she will be taking a little break which she deserves.
I have to say while they both have Rich and unique voices, they are different... they seem to do at best together when Sharon is on her lower end because they are more aligned but yet different in darkness versus bright, but when Sharon hits her high notes with that angelic Clarity, it seems create a clash versus Amy Lee's darker low and with her Hollow rounded notes which does not seem to jive well, and probably should be avoided in future duets.
@shahinmmiah7085 actually Amy has a very limited range she can't go high and she often sounds flat have you ever heard her live album from about a dozen years ago?
I remember when I was there years ago, to witness WT's Hydra tour....and when I saw them live, I just thought that Amy would fit so well with a collab. And now they're finally doing it!
I love them both. They have been singing constantly, so I understand the struggle with powerful vocals, and even though I am happy they collaborated, this isn't it. Amy really sounded off and it didn't flow with the other vocals very well. Maybe it was too spontaneous? But another song or key would have been much better.
Just be grateful that the shows have actually happened it’s not up to you if the two lead singer of both bands sing together or not I saw the show in London it’s was awesome it was my first time seeing evanescence and I was just really happy to b there after the fact it was cancelled so many time so stop acting like children and just be grateful that you seen two amazing bands

Watch Amy with Lizzy Hale in "Break In". That was a great blend. Both did low and high. Amy is not an alto-soprano.
