Awesome tutorial!! Is there's a chance to upland the settings for that particle node for the clouds and the forest? That will allow us to study it up close. Thanks!!
Hello Aya, The particle sprite is just a collection of particle seq that I put together using an appendclip and then group together for cleaness. It's not a gizmo, just a simple group.
If you connect your cloud image directly to the particle input of the particle emitter it should billboard automatically. If you want to use a geo card then you can use a particle look at node and link it to the camera translation.
is there any chance that you can explain how you create the clouds? which texture did you used etc. i can´t get a nice result in nuke trying it by myself
so, it looks like your particle is a gizmo, and therefore not a sprite, which would face the camera the entire time. did you place your clouds onto a card or another geo in order to get the nice randomness? great video, btw, thanks!
If you could do a complete tutorial on this it would be so great! having real trouble with getting proper clouds etc.

But how do you get them to face the camera at all times?

That's great, thanks! Working nicely! Tutorial is really helpful, too. Always struggled with clouds
Thank you so much. Very nice tutorial.

You can use DMP clouds, maya fluids using slicing technique or a simple plugins like the cloud maker from blender(free and easy).
Thanks for the tutorial, Im having trouble connecting the frame hold node after the particle node it wont connect any idea why?

So helpfull, thanks
thanks. But where did you download the images for the clouds?
Hello thanks for your comment. I use a little add on in Blender called cloud generator and for others I use simple maya fluids.
Thanks. I am testing out your answer.
so may you make a fully tutorial how to create a cloud in Nuke? So even with the Blender step. I am curious which options did you use.
I am know I am not the only one thinking this, (based on the comments) but how did you get the particles looking like clouds?
what is that file type you're using that creates the source clouds?
Hey bro,I want a waterfall matte animation tutorial in nuke pls, pls.....! Upload it
