Actually, this song along with "Take A Picture" are double A-sides from their single album("I AM" is the b-side). I like "Take A Picture" more(there's an MV for it if you haven't checked it out already) but these girls debuted officially in December and they're already so big in Japan.
I think they (well, the song writer) really cleverly blends the band name into the song. In the lyric, "we need you all the time", "need you" in pronounced "ni ju" in Japanese - and if you're sneaky, you spell that "NiziU". "We Need You" is, thus, "we (are) NiziU". Boom
"Take a picture dance performance video" is the best video for me. (Of course MV is good) performance is so cool.

Kind of wish jype gave poppin to twice and let them revisit their cuter side.
I think TWICE has moved from that concept for quite some time ago. Their recent hits like ICSM, More & More, Fancy, Feel Special were all badass and sexy concepts. As much as I liked their cute concepts but change is necessary if you want to stay relevant for a long time otherwise people get bored. Honestly I wouldn't mind if TWICE goes back to cute and cheerful concepts. I am up for anything. 😅
That would have be awesome. I would love to see twice do a cute song. But I think this song suits niziu better
This was an awesome song! I know that they are a totally different group, but I couldn't help but notice the obvious...this MV reminded me of Twice's earlier music. There's nothing wrong with that, but it is just what I noticed right off the bat. Dope song nonetheless.
Yeah Id say give 'Take a picture' a go. I think its a little more solid than this too, which is just a little too treacly sweet for me as well.
I personally love this track and mv but I can def recognize the vibe is not for everyone !! Personally something about a euphoric overload of fun and color is really nice to me !! For people who get headaches from that stuff tho I feel for u :,(
