In the reality that we live in though, NRG still put up results that I’m proud of and in this reality, we slammed the heavily HEAVILY favored, scrim god G2. No matter the timeline I’ll be proud of that as a NA fan. We don’t get these wins often but I’ll celebrate when we do 😂
You cant accuse NRG of just flopping over. They were trying to get any edge and play they could in all 3 games. Weibo just out drafted or out played them
Honestly? All things considered, NRG put up a pretty good fight. First game was close, second game was better than most NA vs east standards, whereas the third was more what we expect from NA vs east. If this roster gets a bit more time to cook, they might actually be capable of great things in the future. Y'know, after they slap some sense into whoever was making the draft calls cause god damn were those drafts stinky, a better draft and they may have flipped a game or two.
Everyone shit talking the drafts for no reason lol. Drafts were really good, the opponent just played better. Did you expect them to win Worlds? Even with perfect draft a better team will still beat them.
If NRG got rekt like G3 over the whole series, it would be totally fine for everyone. But they do had some serious chances in G1 and 2. Now that's the shitty part, getting hope.
NRG mental boom game 3 this series was hard to watch. Last game was actually a paypal running it down and then they made every mistake a bronze player would. At least play something fun if you're not gonna try.
I'd be more okay with NRG getting dropped here if the drafts were a little less troll, I feel like if they gave contractz a bit more prio and palafox played neeko they could've at LEAST taken a game or two from Weibo, if not beat them 3 - 2
In Sneaky's defense about the outburst, DL and Jankos were being SUPER obnoxious from champ select onwards, blasting copium out like a jet engine the entire game over that cursed champ select. As the game got worse, they just got louder. I legit had to turn my volume down because they were screaming so much, and if Sneaky completely didn't lose it I was ready to kick a hole through RUclips time and space and shut them up my damn self. We've probably been spoiled, but that game was definitely a new low for the tricast. Bright side: pretty sure we all have a deeper appreciation for what Billy Meaty-Toes brings to these casts.

I've watched teams go 0-3 and stand around losing stuff; NRG actually fought it out and that was really refreshing to see.
