I was at the NYC TobyMac concert a couple of weeks ago and I was having a really hard day. You came on stage and said some awesome things, including that you believed that there are no coincidences. You said that God brought each of us to that concert on that night for a reason. Those words hit home and as I sat there crying, you sang this song. soo true! I'm still in my teens, and reading this brings tears to my eyes, and a less weight in my heart knowing that our heavenly father loves us even though we are all sinners at heart. And the mess we made, hits me hard. I will stay strong in my faith, and I know that the lord is in control and whatever happens I'll give it to the lord to handle for I know my limits. To the skeptic might not believe nor understand, but to the orphan it feels like home, and to the captive it feels like freedom.

Just like the Bible says, the Light shines into and overcomes the darkness. Picture this -- its all dark in your room in the middle of the night and suddenly a blinding bright light unexpectedly shines into your face -- its not something you'd ignore -- in fact you'd never forget it ! In the same way, when the reality & truth of the gospel message opens a person's eyes and they believe for the first time -- their life is changed and they will NEVER forget it! Really like this song. The good news of the Gospel IS that we can receive Jesus through repentance and faith in His salvation, for He is the "only one Way to the Father". I think what Ryan was trying to emphasize when He said that the good news of the gospel was not that, but that Jesus had received us, I think Ryan meant that Christ died for us while we were still sinners (Rom 5:8), so that wretched sinners not worthy of God's holiness COULD turn in repentance and come to Christ to be saved by faith

But He is a loving, Just and forgiving God . He loved us so much He sent His Son Jesus Christ to save us. True Joy comes knowing who God is and what He did and what He will do. Human mind cannot grasp it but to get a glimpse of who God is We need to have faith, repent and saved and trust Him 100%. Pray Holy Spirit to work and dwell in us because according to the bible it is very difficult to understand with a flesh we will understand God within spirit. Thank you for this powerful and beautiful message and music. May Lord Jesus Christ the Son of Living God have mercy on us.

soo true! I'm still in my teens, and reading this brings tears to my eyes, and a less weight in my heart knowing that our heavenly father loves us even though we are all sinners at heart. And the mess we made, hits me hard. I will stay strong in my faith, and I know that the lord is in control and whatever happens I'll give it to the lord to handle for I know my limits. To the skeptic might not believe nor understand, but to the orphan it feels like home, and to the captive it feels like freedom.

I love this song on so many levels! Tonight I'm thinking about the line "Like a blinding light, in the dead of night... its the GOSPEL, the GOSPEL that makes a way!" Just like the Bible says, the Light shines into and overcomes the darkness. Picture this -- its all dark in your room in the middle of the night and suddenly a blinding bright light unexpectedly shines into your face -- its not something you'd ignore -- in fact you'd never forget it ! In the same way, when the reality & truth of the gospel message opens a person's eyes and they believe for the first time -- their life is changed and they will NEVER forget it! Nothing else the world has to offer can compare! It's powerful!

Really like this song. The good news of the Gospel IS that we can receive Jesus through repentance and faith in His salvation, for He is the "only one Way to the Father". I think what Ryan was trying to emphasize when He said that the good news of the gospel was not that, but that Jesus had received us, I think Ryan meant that Christ died for us while we were still sinners (Rom 5:8), so that wretched sinners not worthy of God's holiness COULD turn in repentance and come to Christ to be saved by faith
