My daughter just survived Hurricane Milton in Sarasota, FL. As she and her family hid in their closet for 8+ hours, the winds were raging outside so loudly and fiercely and they could hear things hitting their steel shutters, the words to this song came to her and brought her comfort that God was in control. In the middle of the hurricane came the “eye of the storm” which was completely calm, still, and silent. Jesus brings these moments of silence in the middle of raging storms to remind us that He is in control and will take care of us. Praying for all those affected by hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, and other natural disasters across our country and world to find peace and hope in Jesus.
Nancy, we live in Sarasota and are still without power, my daughter and I went out in the eye and we tried to remember the lyrics. This is why I am here playing this song today, I wanted to see if we remembered them right. The eye was so calm, not a wind, not a sound, but there was fog and weirdly lots of mosquitos. We prayed and then went back in when the winds started picking back up again in the opposite direction. I am praying for all those who lost everything. These hurricanes have been devastating. Last year my medicine for my diabetes built up in my kidney's causing them to shut down. I was on life support for 2 weeks in ICU . God gave me a very special and beautiful time with my Momma while I was in coma. I grateful I'm here today thank you God . Amen 🙏

Lost our 16 year old son Robbie Stalets 2 1/2 years ago. It has shaken our lives to a core most do not even know exists. So much I could and want to say but to the point this song made me weep in whole heart worship Losing a child is the worse grief possible. My son was my son He was my boy A loving caring yet strong and confident young man heading to be what the world needs more of, men who love God and man It wasn't Gods plan Through what only on the surface that appears as a tragedy, God has been overwhelmingly faithful and has revealed Himself in ways I have never known even when I first loved Him In the eye of the storm we Had To give Him control - in the middle of the war He has guarded my soul - In this depth of grief no one can live with it unless you have God as your anchor. Nothing NOTHING matters anymore when you lose your child but God is close to the broken hearted and I know it's true - His love literally did and has not stopped surrounding us right in the middle of the pain and it changes it It doesn't take it away it secures it to not go out of control. It comforts right in the eye of the storm. So many have said things about his mother and I regarding what they see but I'm here to say it's NOTHING of us and it's ALL HIM. The lyrics continue When my hopes and dreams are far from me and running out of faith I see the future I picture slowly fade away And when the tears of pain and heart ache are pouring down my face I find my peace in Jesus name Nothing I can add to that. Losing Robbie was losing a big part of myself Everything I thought I would see, a steady girlfriend, marriage, more and more hunting and camping just me and my boy and life just watching my Robbie grow, was shattered in a 5 week battle with Lukemia. I can't hardly remember the first year but I'll never forget the nights of such pain and non stop tears yet there was a peace that would come when it got so bad I felt I could actually die from heart ache. It was as if God would not allow it to go beyond that point. And I tell you the truth, this peace came all the time and every time without fail or exception. I found my peace in Jesus name His love surrounded me when there was nothing else that could. I'm not religious. These are not fancy words I'm telling you these words in this song are true The lyrics continue When they let me go And I just don't know How I'm gonna make ends meet I did my best Now I'm scared to death That we might lose everything And when a sickness takes My child away And there's nothing I can do My only hope is to trust You When they let us go from the hospital that night after we let our son go there was a deep recognizing we were completely crippled physically, emotionally and spiritually and with two business's to run and all the other obligations we knew we could not do it and the natural result is collapse in every way Yet it was completely COMPLETELY out of our control I had done my best to build what we had and to live a life acceptable to Christ To raise my family and provide yet I knew I could do it no more and knew we could lose everything In reality we were past having fear of that because we really didn't care When your child goes away whst more can one say or what else matters anymore

Friends lost their almost 3 year old over the weekend - for no reason...he just fell face first onto his bed and stopped breathing....😭so much suffering and faithfilled prayer to see a miracle but none came. I came to the realization a few months ago, even if the worst imaginal happens, we can't stop it or change it back, but with we will get through with the Peace that surpasses all understanding.
God saved my life, i was in and out of jail and lost everything that meant something to me including my wife, son, friends, and all immediate family gave up on me. God never did. I have been clean for a few weeks now (longest ever) Moved 4 hours away to be with my son, blessed with a good job despite my record. God has blessed me so much since i gave my life to him. Hang in there. If God changed me he can change anyone or anything. Amen!

When we feel abandoned and used by others, esp those we loved, God been there. We stay in prayer bc our Father loves us and will never leave us. I want to share a testimony with u. A while ago, I was feeling so down and depressed about a lot of things; loved ones hurting me, my child was diagnosed with autism; so I was feeling very down. That night around three in the morn as I was asleep; I found myself in an amber colored tunnel (check these tunnels out on youtube). A white light was surrounding this tunnel and I was so afraid bc I didn't know how I had gotten there, nor where I was until it dawned on me that I was in the presence of Almighty God!. I saw His eyes staring back at me, then I came out of it and sat up in my bed. That gv me perspective on life. Well, I hope this helped in some way. God bless and stay close to Him. He is all we need.

On days that I was so down, homeless on the streets in PHX Az, this was one of the songs that would help me. Id sit alone and sing to myself, in the park, walking down the streets. When I was at my lowest praise and worship, even when I didn't want to, help me get by.
This was the only song my mom knew all the lyrics to, it was her favorite. When it would come on the radio, she would turn it up and start singing. On July 2nd, after battling breast cancer for almost a decade and a half (I'm 15, so she has been at war with it since I was 1 year old), she passed away. In the eye of this storm I am in, this song brings me comfort. Not only for the lyrics, but for the fact that it also brought my mother comfort in the eye of her storm. On July 2nd, her life did not end, it just began. God bless

This song has been my motto lately. My husband and I have walked through some VERY HARD times the last couple years. With job loss, disability, severe trauma, no insurance, fighting a lying ex employer for unemployment benefits, totaling a car, now flooding same car, etc. etc. etc. It truly is beating me down sometimes. I feel like Job being tested of my faith. Just when things start looking up again, bam another hit comes. Then this song comes on and I just drop and give Him praise. I WILL NOT LET THE DEVIL DEFEAT ME! I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAISE GOD ALWAYS! For He alone is worthy. Yes, it has been hard. But I still see God’s hand on my life. He is still helping me and blessing me all the while Satan is testing me. In the Eye of this stormy season, I KNOW God’s Love surrounds me! Don’t give up folks. It can be hard. Such is life. But rewards do come to those who persevere through. I feel also maybe I’m being strengthened for what is coming? These are the last days. We will need His strength.
@@jbtafisher I would love to say yes. But sadly, my husband decided he didn’t want a disabled wife. He got lost. Addiction to porn led him to adultery. I don’t have my disability benefits yet. Can’t work. For two years he cut me off financially while in divorce proceedings. I had to beg for food. God did provide for me. God is always good. I moved back home to help my Dad. Not having seen him in a while. I got here to discover he’s been hoarding trash. Not stuff. But trash. He’s got onset of Dementia. The mean kind. I got very little in the divorce. Texas has No alimony and the laws on support are a a joke. I’m trying to start over filing for disability. Hoping everything will work out. My dad barely gets by. I am praying God provides something soon. Women usually don’t fare well in divorce. But thank you. Still holding onto this song and Gods Hope.

in this past week.... a 20 year old mother and her 2 year old daughter perished in a fire across the road from our home.... a three year old boy who goes to daycare with my son lost his life to a step father who beat him to death.... children on a school bus in chattanooga died during a wreck.... its been a VERY hard week... this song seems to keep playing over and over on our local christian radio station and I truly believe that it is GOD reminding us that HE is still in control... even when evil runs rampant and we feel completely alone and or lost... He is there....

I was driving last night to work, listening to this song. Darkness tried to overcome me, thoughts of death , panic. I prayed to jesus, cast it out, i felt the darkness leave. This song came on the radio this morning and really calmed my soul. My father-in-law has been battling for his life this past week. It's been an emotional and physical battle for he and his family. Fortunately friends and family are praying on a global level for his health. I know he delights in the Lord, so there is great comfort in that, but it's still been very hard. God is in control, all be well in the end.

I relate to this song... I LOVE THIS SONG!!! The Storm of my Life had begun and I did not know until it was too late. Identity Thief started a chain of fast unstoppable events that lead to being foreclosed on Christmas Eve and my home being padlocked. The economy did not help and was called the worst since the Great Depression causing me to be laid-off. In tough times we tighten our belts and do what we have to do, renting a room from a family of 8 and a half (Baby on the way) that saw my ad on Craigslist. The most over whelming challenge was losing my mom. She had passed away 4 times; twice she was gone for over 30 minutes and came back to life. Testimonies: Power of Prayer, Miracles, giving God all the praise and glory. This was not an easy process; I had to change my Why’s into I Trust Your Will. I had to stop whining please take away these burdens and praying for faith, broader shoulder and strength. Seeing others as God’s children and not judging. In situations where people lashed out at me, praying for them and myself for forgiveness, it caused me to have resentment. Giving situations to God and not taking it back. Watching my words, speaking only positive and uplifting words, just a few words of kindness can change a person day or life. Learning to be Christ-like, Selfless. Having Unshakable Faith, Hope and Love. Turning Trials into Testimonies. God has given me the strength and the courage to take one step at a time through this 10-year process. He has made a way in the middle of nowhere AND IN THE EYE OF THE STORM. AMEN!!!!
Our trials shape us to become Christ-like. I've had many trials too and count them all as blessings. It makes me grateful to have gotten through the hard times to the other side. But trials will always be there. With each trial we experience, it makes it that much easier to let go and let God. I trust God implicitly. It took me awhile to get to that point. I really relate to this song. I was laid-off from my job about 7 weeks ago. I did not get angry. I did not get too nervous (a little bit I'll admit). But when I feel the nerves coming, I pray the Lord to re-center me and to protect my family and me. God has never failed me. Boy, I could write all night with all the blessings and miracles I've experienced. God will always make a way for His children! I'm so joyful that He has gotten you through this tough time! In September me and momma got in a car crash but i still believed god would heal me. In October that really bad storm hit my school and we lost power i then believed and trusted god to stop the storm and now I’m praying, praising, and forgiving.

A friend gave us a book: The story was of a young boy who’s father taught him about God. Each night, they would look at the moon. Sometimes it was round - they could see it “all”. I have been delivered. I didn’t know this was possible. I now know he can do all things. He can do this for anyone. I've just started hearing this song on KLOVE the past few days and I get goose bumps from head to toe every time it plays. My entire life has been one storm after another. I have a life story so unbelievable I don't believe it myself as I even tell parts of it and I lived it. And there are things I won't tell anyone, not even my husband of 20 years now because there are things in my past people just don't need or want to hear. And still, right now I'm going through the very toughest storm of my life and fighting the hardest battle of all. And because of this battle all the past hurts of my life that I've stuffed down deep and never dealt with, because that's what I was taught to do as a child because any show of emotions was punished severely and very humiliating, but all of it has been brought to the surface and has all come to a head all at once. As I'm fighting to regain my own life back after taking myself off a very high dose 7 year Fentanyl addiction a doctor gave me and refused to take me off of properly I had to stop cold turkey and then fight for my life literally because the sudden stop almost killed me and I should have, but I had no choice because I was about to drop dead any day on the drug anyway. As I came out if the drug fog I began to realize that my entire life is shattered In a million pieces on the ground around me and I've lost almost everything that's important to me on this earth and I'm about to loose my family and I'm not strong enough to fight and I can't hardly even get up out of bed still after 14 weeks off the drug! The most severe depression. Hit about 4 weeks into recovery when I lost my 2 biggest emotional attachments and I started bottoming out and I've been struggling since. I had to start counseling and see a psychiatrist to get help for the depression and he had to dig deep into my painful past, through my childhood filled with years of every kind of abuse you can imagine as part of my daily life, being raised around dangerous type people surrounded by an environment filled with drugs and alcohol, thru my own alcohol and drug addiction, thru a marriage just as bad or worse than my childhood, raising a troubled teen that was arrested several times and some of those arrests I had to initiate and eventually our family had to leave the town we lived in because of his reputation and charges of his last incarceration, having 3 more boys that are all special needs, loosing my own health and bein forced out of my long time career in the Prison system, facing financial ruin which I'm still battling, we almost lost our home and our boys due to my health, and now I'm fighting to regain my life because a greedy doctor cared more about padding his own already deep pockets than he did about my well being. And on top of that the sudden stop of the drug threw my body into the middle of early full blown menopause too. And now im forced to deal with all my life's past hurts that the psychiatrist dug up to get at the root of my depression and why. I've lived every part of this song and then some, except for the loss of a child and I hope I don't have to face that. Right now I'm still fighting for my life and praying I can get up and fight before my family totally falls apart and we are completely broke and lose everything. When I first heard this song it stopped me dead in my tracks! It has been playing over and over in my head constantly for 3 days now and I was up till 4 am yesterday reading scripture verses that support the message in the song looking for the hope I need to keep fighting. I've fought more than my fair share of battles in life and I've always gotten up after I've been knocked down and at times I've been kicked in the teeth repeatedly by Satan while I'm down but I've always been able to get back up and fight pretty quick. This time, after 14 weeks, I'm still laying on the ground, bruised, beaten, bleeding, hurting worse than ever, and the shattered pieces of my life laying on the ground around me are starting to blow away in the wind and some are gone forever. My heart is broken and I can't stuff my pain down anymore and smile and act like Satan hasn't just knocked me down and kicked me in the teeth because he's been doing I repeatedly day after day for 14 weeks now and laughing at me the whole time telling me I can't get up this time. I hear God speak to me the most thru music but a couple very wise Christian women have been beating me over the head for a long time now about also reading the Word. Upon hearing this song I've somehow finally figured out that maybe I should listen to them and I want to be able to let go of the "Victim" title, heal from the pain, and have the faith and reassurance in Christ that they have, the trust in The Lord that they have, the Spirit of God that I can feel radiating off of them, so I started with scripture to support the message in this song. It was hard at first but I got up out of bed today and felt good once I got moving. This song is stiring the fire and desire to fight again inside that I've been praying for and needing to feel I see for a long time and it started when I picked up my Bible and started reading the Words to support the message in this song. The Bible is my biggest weapon against Satan, and the Trust in the Eye of The Storm spoken about here is rising up inside me. Please pray tha it keeps building inside me and I can be healed from my hurtful past and live a life putting all of my trust in The Lord and not giving in to the fear Satan tries to give me!
My daughter just survived Hurricane Milton in Sarasota, FL. As she and her family hid in their closet for 8+ hours, the winds were raging outside so loudly and fiercely and they could hear things hitting their steel shutters, the words to this song came to her and brought her comfort that God was in control. In the middle of the hurricane came the “eye of the storm” which was completely calm, still, and silent. Jesus brings these moments of silence in the middle of raging storms to remind us that He is in control and will take care of us. Praying for all those affected by hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, and other natural disasters across our country and world to find peace and hope in Jesus.

Nancy, we live in Sarasota and are still without power, my daughter and I went out in the eye and we tried to remember the lyrics. This is why I am here playing this song today, I wanted to see if we remembered them right. The eye was so calm, not a wind, not a sound, but there was fog and weirdly lots of mosquitos. We prayed and then went back in when the winds started picking back up again in the opposite direction. I am praying for all those who lost everything. These hurricanes have been devastating. I hope your daughter and her family are ok.

Lost our 16 year old son Robbie Stalets 2 1/2 years ago. It has shaken our lives to a core most do not even know exists. So much I could and want to say but to the point this song made me weep in whole heart worship Losing a child is the worse grief possible. In the eye of the storm we Had To give Him control - in the middle of the war He has guarded my soul - In this depth of grief no one can live with it unless you have God as your anchor. Nothing NOTHING matters anymore when you lose your child but God is close to the broken hearted and I know it's true - His love literally did and has not stopped surrounding us right in the middle of the pain and it changes it It doesn't take it away it secures it to not go out of control. It comforts right in the eye of the storm. So many have said things about his mother and I regarding what they see but I'm here to say it's NOTHING of us and it's ALL HIM.

Losing Robbie was losing a big part of myself Everything I thought I would see, a steady girlfriend, marriage, more and more hunting and camping just me and my boy and life just watching my Robbie grow, was shattered in a 5 week battle with Lukemia. I came to the realization a few months ago, even if the worst imaginal happens, we can't stop it or change it back, but with we will get through with the Peace that surpasses all understanding.
God saved my life, i was in and out of jail and lost everything that meant something to me including my wife, son, friends, and all immediate family gave up on me. God never did. I have been clean for a few weeks now (longest ever) Moved 4 hours away to be with my son, blessed with a good job despite my record. God has blessed me so much since i gave my life to him. Hang in there. If God changed me he can change anyone or anything. Amen!

When we feel abandoned and used by others, esp those we loved, God been there. We stay in prayer bc our Father loves us and will never leave us. I want to share a testimony with u. A while ago, I was feeling so down and depressed about a lot of things; loved ones hurting me, my child was diagnosed with autism; so I was feeling very down. That night around three in the morn as I was asleep; I found myself in an amber colored tunnel (check these tunnels out on youtube). A white light was surrounding this tunnel and I was so afraid bc I didn't know how I had gotten there, nor where I was until it dawned on me that I was in the presence of Almighty God!. I saw His eyes staring back at me, then I came out of it and sat up in my bed. That gv me perspective on life. Well, I hope this helped in some way. God bless and stay close to Him. He is all we need.

What a song touched my soul in the worst ever storm in my life so far, my dearest daughter is battling Leukemia and even thought I have faith God is with her, is so difficult to see her in this times of war. This was the only song my mom knew all the lyrics to, it was her favorite. When it would come on the radio, she would turn it up and start singing. On July 2nd, after battling breast cancer for almost a decade and a half (I'm 15, so she has been at war with it since I was 1 year old), she passed away. In the eye of this storm I am in, this song brings me comfort. Not only for the lyrics, but for the fact that it also brought my mother comfort in the eye of her storm. This song has been my motto lately. My husband and I have walked through some VERY HARD times the last couple years. With job loss, disability, severe trauma, no insurance, fighting a lying ex employer for unemployment benefits, totaling a car, now flooding same car, etc. etc. etc. It truly is beating me down sometimes. I feel like Job being tested of my faith. Just when things start looking up again, bam another hit comes. Then this song comes on and I just drop and give Him praise.

Can’t work. For two years he cut me off financially while in divorce proceedings. I had to beg for food. God did provide for me. God is always good. I moved back home to help my Dad. Not having seen him in a while. I got here to discover he’s been hoarding trash. Not stuff. But trash. He’s got onset of Dementia. The mean kind. I got very little in the divorce. Texas has No alimony and the laws on support are a a joke. I’m trying to start over filing for disability. Hoping everything will work out. My dad barely gets by. I am praying God provides something soon. Women usually don’t fare well in divorce. But thank you. Still holding onto this song and Gods Hope.

This song really touched me in a time where I thought my world had fallen apart. My brother had a really bad stroke and we didn't think was going to make it. I was driving home after visiting him crying wondering how I was going to handle everything feeling very overwhelmed when this song came on the radio. in this past week.... a 20 year old mother and her 2 year old daughter perished in a fire across the road from our home.... a three year old boy who goes to daycare with my son lost his life to a step father who beat him to death.... children on a school bus in chattanooga died during a wreck.... its been a VERY hard week... this song seems to keep playing over and over on our local christian radio station and I truly believe that it is GOD reminding us that HE is still in control... even when evil runs rampant and we feel completely alone and or lost... I was driving last night to work, listening to this song. Darkness tried to overcome me, thoughts of death , panic. I prayed to jesus, cast it out, i felt the darkness leave. I coughed and choked up, lost my breath. Then i was okay again! Jesus is king! And he is our protector! No darkenss will overcome our light within! Praise god! I pray for all of you!
This song came on the radio this morning and really calmed my soul. My father-in-law has been battling for his life this past week. It's been an emotional and physical battle for he and his family. Fortunately friends and family are praying on a global level for his health. I know he delights in the Lord, so there is great comfort in that, but it's still been very hard. God is in control, all be well in the end.

I relate to this song... I LOVE THIS SONG!!! The Storm of my Life had begun and I did not know until it was too late. Identity Thief started a chain of fast unstoppable events that lead to being foreclosed on Christmas Eve and my home being padlocked. The economy did not help and was called the worst since the Great Depression causing me to be laid-off. In tough times we tighten our belts and do what we have to do, renting a room from a family of 8 and a half (Baby on the way) that saw my ad on Craigslist. The most over whelming challenge was losing my mom. She had passed away 4 times; twice she was gone for over 30 minutes and came back to life. Testimonies: Power of Prayer, Miracles, giving God all the praise and glory.
This was not an easy process; I had to change my Why’s into I Trust Your Will. I had to stop whining please take away these burdens and praying for faith, broader shoulder and strength. Seeing others as God’s children and not judging. In situations where people lashed out at me, praying for them and myself for forgiveness, it caused me to have resentment. Giving situations to God and not taking it back. Watching my words, speaking only positive and uplifting words, just a few words of kindness can change a person day or life. Learning to be Christ-like, Selfless. Having Unshakable Faith, Hope and Love. Turning Trials into Testimonies. God has given me the strength and the courage to take one step at a time through this 10-year process. He has made a way in the middle of nowhere AND IN THE EYE OF THE STORM. AMEN!!!!

Our trials shape us to become Christ-like. I've had many trials too and count them all as blessings. It makes me grateful to have gotten through the hard times to the other side. But trials will always be there. With each trial we experience, it makes it that much easier to let go and let God. I trust God implicitly. It took me awhile to get to that point. I really relate to this song. I was laid-off from my job about 7 weeks ago. I did not get angry. I did not get too nervous (a little bit I'll admit). But when I feel the nerves coming, I pray the Lord to re-center me and to protect my family and me. God has never failed me. Boy, I could write all night with all the blessings and miracles I've experienced. God will always make a way for His children! I'm so joyful that He has gotten you through this tough time! I'm sure much stronger and wiser! :-)

How lucky are we to have a gracious, forgiving, loving, and all other good describing words savior that never leaves us and no matter the darkness you are in he will always remain the light, and if you look beside you, you will see that light
When my dad had open heart surgery in 2012, I was going in a rough time... Later in October in 2012, My grandfather died the day before my sisters bday... When I heard this song a few months ago, all of that reminds me of That and that HE ALWAYS IS IN CONTROL AND LOVES U NO MATTER WHAT!!

I was addicted to just about all drugs for 20 years I found my mom after she overdosed, and I found my best friend dead due to fentanyl. I just begged him to kill me. Well he killed the addictions. I have been delivered. I didn’t know this was possible. I now know he can do all things. He can do this for anyone. Keep the Faith Jesus Loves you and please forgive yourselves because believe me he already forgot about your past sins. He will change your mind and heart and even body just seek him. You have everything great to gain if you do. ❤
I'm sorry about your losses. 💔🙏 I lost my 19 year old son in an accident in 2007 and my 28 year old son to fentanyl in 2022. A year later in 2023, we lost my sons' daddy. If it wasn't for my faith in God, I would have been gone a long time ago. Keep the faith. Hugs and prayers. 🫂🙏

I've just started hearing this song on KLOVE the past few days and I get goose bumps from head to toe every time it plays. My entire life has been one storm after another. I have a life story so unbelievable I don't believe it myself as I even tell parts of it and I lived it. And there are things I won't tell anyone, not even my husband of 20 years now because there are things in my past people just don't need or want to hear. And still, right now I'm going through the very toughest storm of my life and fighting the hardest battle of all. And because of this battle all the past hurts of my life that I've stuffed down deep and never dealt with, because that's what I was taught to do as a child because any show of emotions was punished severely and very humiliating, but all of it has been brought to the surface and has all come to a head all at once. As I'm fighting to regain my own life back after taking myself off a very high dose 7 year Fentanyl addiction a doctor gave me and refused to take me off of properly I had to stop cold turkey and then fight for my life literally because the sudden stop almost killed me and I should have, but I had no choice because I was about to drop dead any day on the drug anyway. As I came out if the drug fog I began to realize that my entire life is shattered In a million pieces on the ground around me and I've lost almost everything that's important to me on this earth and I'm about to loose my family and I'm not strong enough to fight and I can't hardly even get up out of bed still after 14 weeks off the drug! The most severe depression. Hit about 4 weeks into recovery when I lost my 2 biggest emotional attachments and I started bottoming out and I've been struggling since. I had to start counseling and see a psychiatrist to get help for the depression and he had to dig deep into my painful past, through my childhood filled with years of every kind of abuse you can imagine as part of my daily life, being raised around dangerous type people surrounded by an environment filled with drugs and alcohol, thru my own alcohol and drug addiction, thru a marriage just as bad or worse than my childhood, raising a troubled teen that was arrested several times and some of those arrests I had to initiate and eventually our family had to leave the town we lived in because of his reputation and charges of his last incarceration, having 3 more boys that are all special needs, loosing my own health and bein forced out of my long time career in the Prison system, facing financial ruin which I'm still battling, we almost lost our home and our boys due to my health, and now I'm fighting to regain my life because a greedy doctor cared more about padding his own already deep pockets than he did about my well being. And on top of that the sudden stop of the drug threw my body into the middle of early full blown menopause too. And now im forced to deal with all my life's past hurts that the psychiatrist dug up to get at the root of my depression and why. I've lived every part of this song and then some, except for the loss of a child and I hope I don't have to face that. Right now I'm still fighting for my life and praying I can get up and fight before my family totally falls apart and we are completely broke and lose everything. When I first heard this song it stopped me dead in my tracks! It has been playing over and over in my head constantly for 3 days now and I was up till 4 am yesterday reading scripture verses that support the message in the song looking for the hope I need to keep fighting. I've fought more than my fair share of battles in life and I've always gotten up after I've been knocked down and at times I've been kicked in the teeth repeatedly by Satan while I'm down but I've always been able to get back up and fight pretty quick. This time, after 14 weeks, I'm still laying on the ground, bruised, beaten, bleeding, hurting worse than ever, and the shattered pieces of my life laying on the ground around me are starting to blow away in the wind and some are gone forever. My heart is broken and I can't stuff my pain down anymore and smile and act like Satan hasn't just knocked me down and kicked me in the teeth because he's been doing I repeatedly day after day for 14 weeks now and laughing at me the whole time telling me I can't get up this time. I hear God speak to me the most thru music but a couple very wise Christian women have been beating me over the head for a long time now about also reading the Word. Upon hearing this song I've somehow finally figured out that maybe I should listen to them and I want to be able to let go of the "Victim" title, heal from the pain, and have the faith and reassurance in Christ that they have, the trust in The Lord that they have, the Spirit of God that I can feel radiating off of them, so I started with scripture to support the message in this song. It was hard at first but I got up out of bed today and felt good once I got moving. This song is stiring the fire and desire to fight again inside that I've been praying for and needing to feel I see for a long time and it started when I picked up my Bible and started reading the Words to support the message in this song. The Bible is my biggest weapon against Satan, and the Trust in the Eye of The Storm spoken about here is rising up inside me. Please pray tha it keeps building inside me and I can be healed from my hurtful past and live a life putting all of my trust in The Lord and not giving in to the fear Satan tries to give me!
