    I made the mistake of using two threads of yarn because I didn't want to use my chunky yarn just yet, and boy does it look completely different but someone still amazing. Haha thank you for the tutorial.

    Hi, is the Italian cast-on tighter than the e-wrap cast-on? I'd like a less loopy/loose cast-on. Thanks for the hat and new techniques 😁.

      I believe it is. Less yarn and tighter.

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  2 года назад +2

      It results a bit tighter and more "invisible"

    I notice you do a lot of your hats on 41 peg loom … why the extra large loom …instead of the large 36 loom… the one hat I made of your I made on The 41 felt very big is it just a preference ?

    Hi! Love your videos and designs. Also got the app ;) I have a question though: I want to make this hat for a six-year-old. Do I use a smaller size loom?

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  2 года назад +1

      Hi Anne! For a six-year-old, I would recommend you to use the 36-peg loom (you can follow the same directions described in the video, just work it shorter and that's it).

      You are probably losing jarn that's too thin 😊 hope that helps

    Does the pattern need to be altered if I make this on a 36 peg loom for kids? Thanks!

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  2 года назад

      Hi Holly! You can follow the pattern on a 36-peg loom (actually, the pattern works better on even-numbered-peg loms). You won't have the "extra peg" I have at the end of every round

      Hi Debra! I used bulky weight yarn (size #6) called Katia Big Merino
