  • Second Coming of Jesus- SecondComing.org- Ty Gibson A BETTER STORY Speaker at Lightbearers.
Powerfully raw and spot on describing the human condition. One of the most powerful Bible Studies, ever. This will change your life! Pass it on. Brene Brown says:
To become fully human means learning to turn my gratitude for being alive into some concrete common good. It means growing gentler toward human weakness. It means practicing forgiveness of my and everyone else's hourly failures to live up to divine standards. It means learning to forget myself on a regular basis in order to attend to the other selves in my vicinity. It means living so that "I'm only human" does not become an excuse for anything. It means receiving the human condition as blessing and not curse, in all its achingly frail and redemptive reality.
Let ourselves be seen, deeply seen, vulnerably seen, to love with our whole hearts, even though there's no guarantee... to practice gratitude and joy in those moments of terror... to say 'I'm just so grateful because to feel this vulnerable means I'm alive'... to believe that we're enough. Because when we work from a place, I believe, that says, 'I'm enough', then we stop screaming and start listening, we're kinder and gentler to the people around us, and we're kinder and gentler to ourselves.

Thank you so much for this! If you were nearby I would come to your church. This is the closest thing I've ever heard that speaks to what the stories in the Bible and Christianity are supposed to teach and be about. So glad I "accidentally" found you!

The big question, then, is if Jesus is supposed to give us a new healing story to give us a rejuvenated start, why are so many of us baptized Christians, still so dysfunctional and broken?

The devil will do his utmost to keep us that way. Just remember, we cannot look to others for our resolution, for they are broken also. We need to look to Jesus for ALL of our healing.
In Matthew 5 Jesus said blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Resolution may take time, but it is for our benefit to learn to be persistent in prayer. In His time, Jesus will faithfully answer.

Why was the door of the church shut from 1844 to 1851claiming probation was over then opened again where was gods leading in this false understanding of scripture interesting how no one appears to have a valid answer still waiting for one for this simple question
