DIY Mini Evening Purse with Free Sewing Pattern

In this video, I’ll show you how to make a cute little shoulder purse with a concave-shaped magnetic snap flap. It’s perfect for everyday use or as an evening bag. The chain strap is attached through 1cm metal grommet holes. There’s also a zippered pocket on the back for some more secure storage.
The finished bag is 8 5/8" (22cm) wide and 6" (15cm) tall. The gusset width is 2" (5cm).
For the materials, I used medium-weight home decor fabric with fusible interfacing for the exterior and a lightweight cotton blend for the lining. The zipper is a 3mm nylon coil, and I used 14mm magnetic prong back snaps for the flap closure.
