The guy who built the Alfa Is ridiculously humble. I wasn't sure what he was going to show off, but it's obvious he's a body genius. Never seen work like that before, just amazing. The "Finished" Alfa in his garage looks breathtaking. Those slotted tire covers are the coolest thing.
That's the most unbelievable beautiful hand made car I've ever seen!! I could look at it for hours or days. Please go back there soon and show us more.
The Alfa body is absolutely stunning. What an incredible owner and story. Need to see more of this gentleman and his cars, easily one of your best episodes ever!
Simply amazing. Most people you run across in life who fancy themselves "fabricators" - well, they need to watch this. Who knew a teacher could do *this* !?! Thanks as always, Tom. - Ed on the Ridge
The key here is DESIGN and TASTE. Anyone can fabricate, but it takes a true artist to do this. That Bad Chad doof will never be an artist. Go professor!!!
WOW, English professor Paul not only has an awesome collection of cars but that homebuilt Alfa is just stunning. Hope to see more of his collection and that project running and driving - absolutely amazing.
Tom!! You left us hanging! Seeing the professor’s stories that you did tell, I KNOW that each of the other cars has a great back story. Please do another segment on the professor’s collection. I’m begging here!
From Spain, Europe😜. Can't wait to see Mr Willson car collection!!! And that amazing job project with the Alfa. Desiryng to see it finished and rolling!!!!
WOW! His vision on building a car, all steel, is absolutely amazing. Those 2 are simply beautiful... I'm dumbfounded by his attention to detail. Have mercy. Yes, they are not originals, but I do believe that they are just as good, if not better than an original. I want to be his son. I want him to teach me the fine art of shaping metal like that. Maybe he can brush me up on my English learnin' too😄. Again, I have to say WOW, WOW, WOW! Thanks Tom, great show. I truly wish you had more time to spend with the school teacher. Let's not take forever to go and visit him again. Have a great evening, God bless.
Tom, thanks for some great content! I’m a huge fan of your show. In fact a friend of mine bought a truck out of Midland Texas from Mr. Roland’s yard that he spotted on your show. I was living there at the time so I went to check it out for him before he brought a trailer down from Oklahoma to pick it up. I have a request for future episodes. I am a 4x4 enthusiast and I love old 4x4 iron. I often see 4x4 versions of American classic trucks and SUVs in your videos that get skipped over. Maybe you could do a video focusing on old 4x4s one of these days? Thanks Tom, hope to run into you on the hunt someday!
Holy smokes. The professors individual cars represent an incredible story each. And probably deserve their own video. Please return. And let him teach you how ‘easy’ it is to roll and create a fender. Now that’s an incredible fabrication skill.
I've loved the Reatta since they first came out, and $10K for one with low miles is very tempting. However, when I saw the gorgeous Alfa Romeo inspired build, I saw something that looks very much like my most favorite car of all time, the Auburn Boattail speedster. Beautiful. What a treat to see both in one episode of Barn Find Hunter.
I have a 34k mile, 1990 Reatta Convertible, red on tan, body color bumpers as opposed to the safety black you see here in this video, my grandfather and myself are the only two to own it, special ordered by my grandfather with my input in 1989. Getting ready for sale in a week or so, if you’re interested before I put it on BAT.. :)
@@davidschluter6639 that’s what I’ve got - single family owned and ~34k miles in beautiful shape. If we can’t strike a deal, I’m putting it up on bring a trailer :) tan convertible top, tan leather, factory CD player, all lcd screens work. The motor for the right headlight is iffy but a pretty easy fix.
As a lifelong Alfa fan and owner, this is such a treat and the professor is certainly living his best life. I have to share the first thing that came to mind after watching. I WANT MORE PLEASE!
When the Prof unveiled that first project my jaw dropped what a beautiful work of art I hope he survives to get bot cars on the road and Tom gets back to film them and spend some time on the other vehicles. Great to see this programme back.
Yeah I agree about the professor! Wow! Absolutly beautiful work. I know body guys that have been doing this 30 years and don't produce that kind of craftsmanship. And that's the ones that try!
It’s coming out pretty well…what an understatement. What amazing craftsmanship! I hope you are passing some of this knowledge down to a younger generation. You shouldn’t let this talent go unnoticed…
Hi Tom. Some people can turn their hand to anything and Paul is one of those ! Those bodies are a thing of beauty and most artisans would be very satisfied with his creation . But he's just picked it up ......incredible ! Absolutely stunning work ! I'm sure your more than aware of the skills needed ! Do you know if he painted them ? Guess he "picked that up as well !" 😁 What a man ! And what a talent ! My only criticism .....those bloody awful beetle headlamps !! Arrrrrgh !!! Thanks Tom . So look forward to your shows !
Amazing people, totally different approach and passion but both great car people. I believe I saw the professor on another site helping a young guy get his start with an exotic racer. He was great then.
Wow. I loved my '89 Reatta. Mine was Red w/ Gray Interior and had body colored red moldings instead of the black molding. I liked those better and they appear to be a little rarer, or at least they were near me. I picked it up w/ about 40k miles on it and was in my 20s, so my insurance was ridiculously high. I'd love to pickup another Reatta some day, but would need to be a '90 or '91 so there's no touch screen. That's the only thing that was problematic on mine. When it acted up, the backlight would not work, but the buttons would, so if you could figure out where a button was, you could still use it. I'll never forget a hot fall day, I had the A/C on and the music blasting, parked the car. The next morning, it was nearly freezing and when I started it to go to work, I nearly froze to death b/c I couldn't figure out how to turn the fan down or off and the tape deck was still blasting.
Oh my, you HAVE to do that guys barn, what a collection! The Alfas though, holy cow man, what beauty. P.S. This guy reminds me of Doc Brown! He should have a DeLorean in his collection!
Hey Tom, you folks should go back and visit Snowball. He'd love to know how those guys over at Redline Rebuild are doing on his race car. I really liked that old guy a lot. He's got lots of cool old iron to look at.
i must say the professor is a gem. would love to see the project completed in this channel
He is too modest
Yes, please!
I’d love to watch him work. Not ask him questions. Just sit and watch
Can’t agree more!
Wow, the Professor did a brilliant job building his own car 🚗 ❤.
Go back again, love that period of cars!!!!
I don't have the words to describe how beautiful those Alfa's are. That takes extraordinary workmanship. Well done Professor!
My jaw dropped when I saw that Alfa ! Just beautiful. Thank you for the video.
Wow the Alpha is stunning and so is the rest of that collection! I hope return visit is already scheduled.
"alpha" 🤔😣
All I can say to the English Prof is " Wow!" Just amazingly beautiful.
English professor
“More later”
Lol

I keep my stuff in overgrown ditches too
kinda what i was thinking.
Ok. Let’s spend an hour with Mr. Wilson. Not only are his tastes impeccable but he has mastered the art of body work.
I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to make body panels as elegant as those on the Professor’s car. Amazing work!! Thanks Tom.
That last section is amazing. Tom you have to go back and show the rest of his collection.
He is a true car enthusiast…
An amazing man to build such a rare Alfa. Glad there are still people in the world that can do this.
Simply amazing.
Most people you run across in life who fancy themselves "fabricators" - well, they need to watch this.
Who knew a teacher could do *this* !?!
Thanks as always, Tom.

Yup. Teachers need to know how to learn before they can teach.
The key here is DESIGN and TASTE. Anyone can fabricate, but it takes a true artist to do this.
That Bad Chad doof will never be an artist. Go professor!!!
Wowowowow what an episode and a proper builder ! Only thing I’m upset about is the episode didn’t go longer !!!
What an incredible custom Alfa and its builder! Thanks for sharing
OH MY Paul is a genius, so beautiful. I would love to be a fly on the wall to see how the body is made.
Holy cow, the handwork of your professor buddy! Beautiful!
Speechless when I saw the Alfa! Amazing achievement! Plus a nice collection.
Please, more of Paul, his collection and most of all him talking about hand building the Alfas. Please 🙏
Absolutely love the show never know what we're going to see so much fun
WOW, English professor Paul not only has an awesome collection of cars but that homebuilt Alfa is just stunning. Hope to see more of his collection and that project running and driving - absolutely amazing.
We need to see more of Prof. Paul’s collection,he’s an interesting dude

Very impressive to see the English Professor's work. Looking forward to seeing more of his collection.
I must say, I think the Professor can school all of us on car building. What a beauty!
From Spain, Europe😜.
Can't wait to see Mr Willson car collection!!!
And that amazing job project with the Alfa. Desiryng to see it finished and rolling!!!!
Great episode! Definitely need another episode with the Professor
What a stunning Alfa Romeo. The emotional response to his work is intense. I love these postwar era cars 😢
Impressive creations. A lot of work but also a lot of pure talent. Thanks for posting this.
The professor is a great guy! I admire him.
Barn find hunters with Tom is def my favorite RUclips channel.
English teacher's Alfa is fantastic!!👍👍👍🤘
The lines on that home made car are just so amazing. I don't how to express how impressed I am or how beautiful that car looks.
My eyes just popped. I wish I could see the progress he made during this stunning build. Seems like a cool person also. Wow. Just wow.
The Professor's car is freaking spectacular.... wow. Amazing!!!
The hand built cars are absolutely stunning and the color is totally beautiful
That man is a genius, an Artist!

That green car that one man is building is gorgeous!!
Holy smokes. The professors individual cars represent an incredible story each. And probably deserve their own video. Please return. And let him teach you how ‘easy’ it is to roll and create a fender. Now that’s an incredible fabrication skill.
I live 8.8 miles from Trip’s and I’ve gotten tags there for multiple cars. Cool to see this show at a place near home.
Love that Teachers work!! Wow does he build beautiful cars.

I love this show. Missed it when it went away and I'm glad it's back but why so short???
Always really liked the looks of the Reatta, saw one at a car show several years ago, all black, lowered just a bit, tinted windows, looked fantastic.
