Here is something to think about. Some people have a so called photographic memory in that they can recall anything from their past in detail. This shows that “ somewhere “ our lives are being recorded and kept. Is our brain holding all that information or is it being recorded by something else ?

@@williamoneill9573 Good Question: Biblically & spiritually speaking we are a composite of two beings in one: a 'conscience' (inner spirit) and a 'subconscience' (outer flesh body) they both record everything...but it is the inner spiritual conscience that has the 360' panoramic view and life review when it departs from the body at death; the human memory dissolves into the ground while our inner spiritual memory is eternal...

When I lost my leg in Afghanistan, way back in 2004 I never lost consciousness. I was fully alert with nothing but a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. My leg was literally hanging on by with just veins or tendons. The only medic with us in my Humvee was also severely wounded and completely unconscious, so there was nobody who could administer morphine with our truck on fire and the medic bag in the back. Anyway, to make a long story short…because of our location and being in such a hot area I had to hang in there for 2 1/2 hrs which was already about 30-40min after the explosion. At this point I know I was slowly bleeding out but because of adrenaline didn’t feel pain for those first 30 or so min. But it hit me after. Then I literally saw my life flash before my eyes like as if I was in a dream state and just felt sleepy and a sense of peace come over me. As I heard a voice say to wake up, it’s not your time. It was another surge of adrenaline and I realized at that moment I wasn’t sleepy. But knew if I didn’t wake up, I would die!

War is hell. I cannot even imagine the pain of what you have experienced, but I pray things are going well for you now. I find it fascinating that we are allowed glimpses into the mysterious every now and again. It gives hope that we are more than just our bodies and that great love and compassion await us.

I truly believe this. When I was 8 my neighbor 45 had a NDE. He told me and my dad he met his parents and his brother in heaven. Had a life review and described in detail how he felt on how he treated people and what they felt. He said it was beautiful, grassy flowery fields filled with pure love. I can only imagine what this is like.

    • @pfazza19
      @pfazza19 5 месяцев назад +7

Similar stories let me share one of mine at a similar age. Older neighbour and WW2 veteran - I must have been 8 as well or very close listening to him tell how his car left a road at speed (this is NZ a lot of winding country roads, gravel - bad asphalt). Who knows if he was gunning the car or why it carried into the bush at speed, but he's remembering it as he relates the story. A fisheye lens looking down suddenly from maybe fifty feet above. Seeing his own body thrown through the cars windshield and half in half out face down. He can see all the details, steam hissing out of the busted radiator and carrying up through the gum leaves and fern fronds. Body lifeless and at some point he realises what's going on and boomerangs back into his body. Of course pain rushes back in. Maybe the 1970s when I heard this never forgotten it

    • @slixlixx
      @slixlixx 4 месяца назад +3

And how long would it take before the beautiful grassy flowery fields filled with pure love became repetitive? 10 years? 100 years? 1000 years? 1000 years without conflict, challenges, goals, obstacles to overcome. Sounds like a fucking nightmare. The idea that life is a quiz for the “real reality” which is the after-life, is such a stupid concept.

Ask for forgiveness NOW instead of waiting until "then". Do it today, don't put it off.
According to the NDEs, the life review is more about you feeling good or bad about what you've done and how others were affected by your choices and actions. There is no judgement from others, you judge yourself. You cannot fool or lie to yourself in heaven. Everything is open. So realize NOW the wrongs you've done in life, ask for forgiveness and then live your life with God's grace.

The majority of humans are addicted to their ego and will lie to feed it. Unfortunately this also equates to such humans eager to declare that they know god and what god is and wants. But one, an omnipotent being doesn't need anyone to speak for it since it's omnipotent, and two, only egotistical people will be quick to speak for god. This is why if you brought them all in one room together, their repots of god will be all over the place and have little in common with one another (which is also why religious people fight all the time.). Point is, if someone is eager to tell you all about god, you're only hearing someone feeding their ego.

This is my near death experience
    Dying experience
The very first thing I noticed was that I was lying somewhere cold. I could hear cars driving past me down the highway, but I couldn’t move or open my eyes. Gradually, it felt like I was becoming more and more distant from my body and senses.
I started to lose one sense after another. The first to go was my vision. You know when you close your eyes and see a dark TV static? I didn’t even see that-all I could see was pitch black. Next, I lost my sense of touch. I could no longer feel the ground beneath me, the cold wind, or the blood squirting out of my face. My sense of hearing started to fade; the sound of the cars became muffled and then silent. My sense of smell vanished; I could no longer detect the metallic scent of blood or the earthy smell of the ground. Every single sense of my body was slowly leaving, one by one.
Once I was dead, or nearly dead, it felt like I was floating in a dark abyss with no forces acting on my body. After what felt like hours, I could see lights far away, like stars with Christmas lights. These lights started getting closer and closer, zooming past me like lasers. After hours of this, it went dark again.
After another long while, I saw a model of my entire life in front of me. It was like a physical timeline that I could pinch and zoom in and out of to see the events that happened in my life from beginning to end. I remember it being so detailed. After exploring for a while, I became disinterested and stepped away from my timeline.
I soon found myself with a familiar feeling of being a part of everything again. It felt as if the tree down the street was right next to me, and that the strangers on the other side of the world were close too. I was a part of the fabric of space and time again, but instead of interacting with my environment, I was just a spectator.
After some time of exploring and observing, I saw these really big towers with meters on them that kept track of aspects of my life-who I am and what I do. The goal seemed to be to fill them all up, either in one or multiple lifetimes, whether here in this body or in another form. Since we have free will, we can do whatever we want. It felt like the “soul” or spirit we have is definitely separate from our current self, almost like another entity.
Now, I think that we really do create our entire reality-every single aspect of our life, what we see, do, and encounter. This includes what we experience after death, like what I saw. I think that’s why everyone has different experiences-because we really do have a say in what we experience after. Our soul, or whatever it is, chooses the path.
    Yeah, weird stuff 😅

I was once a young atheist. In 1982 I had a vision while I was keeping a vigil at the hospital with other family members. My father was near death after a 6 month battle with colon cancer. During the night , while in the waiting area, I received an intense electric shock that pulsed through my body. I received a vision of Jesus carrying a cross with the crown of thorns. I then received my life instructions and heard the word Glory. This happened twice. Back to back. I had no clue what Glory even meant. I too love to listen to near death experiences but I am very cautious about what I listen to. Because of my experience, I know that the Light is Jesus. I was visited by the Holy Spirit and He revealed Jesus to me.

I been trying to find videos of people of NDE. I found one years ago on RUclips of a man explaining his NDE calling in a radio station which I cannot find now.
When I was very young I experienced NDE. While in the kitchen with my mom. I was standing behind her and all of a sudden my vision was fading till I went blind completely. I panicked and was frantically telling my mom I can’t see, I can only hear now. And I can hear my mom saying “get up” I didn’t even know I had fallen or felt my fall. Then I went deaf, so now I couldn’t see or hear but I was conscious. Aware and alert. It was a void of darkness I was in now. But I was at peace and content. It felt like a presence was with me but I couldn’t say what is was or what it looked like it was just a feeling. As I got comfortable I started to think of my mother and how she told me if I would go before her she would hurt herself so I started to panic and wanted to get back to her and then in a snap I was able to see and hear again. I went to the hospital and they said I “fainted” which isn’t possible cause when you look up fainting it states you lose consciousness. At that moment I truly believed souls are consciousness. We live forever. Never dying.

There's this saying--"You never know when you're making a memory." How I interpret this is it's the small things in life that you remember. Those are the moments that will stand out to you as you grow old. It will not be the big, (so-called) life-changing, epic events like graduation ceremonies, weddings, expensive vacations, etc. etc. It will be the small, seemingly insignificant moments--usually those shared with other living things. It makes perfect sense that this phenomena continues on into the death process as well.

How often have you been asked a question where you know that at one point in the past you knew the answer but now can´t remember it. As soon as you hear it you know it to be true, because somewhere deep in our system it is still saved. Everything is saved there.

What he didn’t say is that life review happens in what seems like seconds because there is no time in the afterlife. It seems like everything is happening all at once. Past, present and future and it feels like you are back home after a trip. I would imagine like when the astronauts get debriefed. But at the same time you feel this overwhelming unconditional love. It’s like I’m finally home. And this life you just left was a mere blip in the overall eternal existence of all that is and all that you are. You go home. Back to source. There is no one waiting to punish you for your sins. That’s all man-made stuff. It’s like we are here on a journey living a life and when you “die” it’s like you are walking from one room to the next. It’s so simple and easy. That was my experience. It was phenomenal. Hard to reintegrate back into such a sick and toxic humanity after feeling the most love and acceptance you can ever imagine. If you think this life is real, you are in for an enormous awakening. Life is but a dream - for real. If this is real then the afterlife is hyper-real. It’s painful here. It’s traumatizing to be here. Our souls aren’t made for this. Our souls are energetic love.

After losing my wife to cancer in 2022, I came across the YT Channel "Heaven Awaits" as part of my coming to terms with her loss. Intriguing stuff with various personal stories about NDEs and crossing over into the "other side" and he's right, most have this life review as part of their experience. Another interesting aspect of the NDE stories shared was how a good number of people spoke of what they termed a "soul contract". They explained it as us picking and choosing when we come into the world and how we can choose to have or live multiple lives on earth (i.e. we are born, live life on earth, die, go to heaven and return based on an agreement with God/the higher power who controls all this). As a Christian, I thought this was ridiculous, as once we die, we then either enter an eternity of love and peace in heaven or suffering in hell depending on whether we accepted Jesus as our saviour. However, the more people who had NDEs referred to this soul contract, it fot me wondering...it could explain certain situations where people have "memories" or identify as other people who had already passed on in a previous life.

Has the occurrence of these "panoramic" near-death-experiences increased since video games and modern technology have become popularized? That should be a crucial question to ask when trying to study this topic, even though it would be rather difficult to answer.

See the problem is with this theory is the assumption that everyone differentiate good from bad in the same way. That’s not the case. Even if you see the deed you did from someone else’s perspective, the mind behind it will still be yours. A sociopath thinks differently than an empath does.

University of Virginia has studied NDEs and there are other sources too that I believe conclude no brain activity while experiencing these things. I'm not saying that means we all go to heaven but there is a huge lack of explanation associated. Good science says "I don't know" and "maybe this?"

How does a life review work for someone who’s born in a war torn life, alone, where there is no other people other than to kill? Not everyone lives a life where you get to have a standard life waking up, going to work, loving your spouse, etc.. or someone who lived their entire life on a deserted island surviving? That’s definitely happened.

I always have had a thought since a child that when I got to heaven I could pretty much see a tv 📺 like this like a old classroom and put in a whole tape of someone’s life and watch each moment. I had my NDE I am embarrassed of and might even delete my comment but I believe if you are good in your soul and repent for the sins or bad choices that one day when you pass away you can live in your own bliss and heaven it does take different stages since we have so many differences it might take days or weeks or months but I do believe our souls and spirit will go where we belong.

I came to the same realization that our lives are somehow recorded. There are other things reported by many that give us clues about what could be happening. Some speak of being sent to terrible places where they are brutally attacked and helpless. They are then pulled from those places to a realm of love and peace.
It almost seems to be a simulation much like a video game. I'm not saying that it's actually a game, only that it seems to be an experience that is completely controlled by what ultimately could be a form of technology.

I asked who created God in Sunday school when I was 8. They didn’t have a satisfactory answer and I could never be satisfied with flawed Christian logic and how terrible Christian people were with their judgment and shame. I’m a spiritual person and have had a lot of deep mystic experiences, however my coyote moons never stops. Why is there a being who tells people they have to go back to their human form because they have work to be done, yet when they return they don’t really do anything special? Why do a lot of the supposedly psychic NDE’s never come to pass? Why do Christian people have NDE’s that involve hell and heaven, but other people have NDE’s that don’t involve anything with Jesus or anything Christian? Where are the NDE testimonials on you tube with people from other religions seeing their version of the afterlife? What does a devout Muslim or an indigenous person in the Amazon see with their NDE’s? I have those and a whole bunch more

If after death 💀 we are the judge of our own past actions, then the person that we are after death is a god compared to us while we are alive. So then in a way there’s literally two of each of us. One is a godlike being trying to guide him or herself BACK to your real self. I have experienced both while I am still alive. I have spoken words that I did not understand to strangers who understood exactly what I was saying or at least acted as though they did. I on the other hand would have to say to myself “What did I just say?” However later on, sometimes years later, I would understand what I said years ago. This is how I know that my divine self is running 🏃🏼‍♂️ my life against my will. It speaks when it wants to and probably has me doing things that I think originated in my own mind. I am not concerned about it because for far so good all things considered.

They had to use easy to understand metaphors at the time, to make sure that even kids can understand what will going on after death. Like for example, a videogame like super immersive virtual reality with huge HD screens.
Who knows how in the year 3.000 they will descrive the life review experience...
So, there is no escape from the metaliguistic matrix of story telling itself.

Felt like a birds eye view of moments in my life as seen from other people. But not quite that literal. More so i felt and possibly thought how they did in those moments.

I never had an nde but I had some kind of mystical experience where I left my body during sleep. This happened twice. The first time it happened I met a faceless man who I realized was me in another body, the masculine energy of my soul, who I now call my twin flame. He stood infront of me and looked at me. Allthough I could not see his face I felt that he looked at me through his spirit and showed me what REAL love felt like. That it SEES the other person completely and accepts them fully. I remember waking up in chock because I was reminded of love for the first time and the fact that I have a twin flame.
During the other experience I left my body during sleep and found myself in a space ship of some kind. Again, there was I and my twin flame. We were flying through space in a bubble, or an orb, but I call it a space ship for lack of another word. From this space ship, we were watching our human bodies and earthly lives in real time as they were unfolding here on earth. We could see that our lives were like a video game with our earthly bodies being characters who were programmed to do everything they do. We could see that me and my twin flame were enemies here on earth, but it did not in any way affect our unbreakable unity in spirit.
    These experiences felt extremly lucid.
From the second experience I realized that humans do not have free will. We are programmed by something higher than ourselves. Therefore, I no longer try to live my life according to my own free will and I dont think humans create their own reality at all. Instead I think its more interesting to understand and accept the greater design so to speak, as much as I can that is, since I also saw that a human is as intelligent as a rock compared to a soul. A human is just a desposible vehicle to the soul as far as I could tell.
I'm not going to lie, this realization hurt and left me feeling depresed and angry for a while but now I can honestly say I feel at peace knowing that there is something so much greater beyond me and I feel compassion for my human self.

In a way, I've spent my entire life training for that moment, as humiliation is something I'm very familiar with.
I can't help but feel that I'll get to see all the events of my senior year in High School from the point of view of the girl I spent the entire year chasing after, and I can't help but feel that when I see it through her eyes, my reaction will be "I can't believe I thought I ever had a shot, I was completely delusional."
