That cape is crazy long but still looks good, it goes with the statues dark vibe. Almost has a supernatural feel to it.

Okay, this was the hands on I needed with this figure. Appreciate all the different angles and close ups. I agree with you on having a definitive quarter scale Bats - ever since I got into statues recently, I haven’t found one that gripped me. And I really want one to go with the latest Robin PF.
I like the long exaggerated cape, and the classic emblem/blue cowl combo. I also consider this a million times better than the hunchback modern Sideshow PF. But idk, there’s just something (or maybe a lack of something) stopping me from being all in just yet (that underbite doesn’t help lol). The recent Daniel Bel bust makes me thing there could be better... Don’t get me wrong, I think status wise, it does a good job. But I’m just not sure if it’s the one for me.
I did, however, recently pull the trigger on the upcoming Prime 1 Batman Hush, but that’s 1/3 (and that was mainly after being blown away by my first Prime 1 piece, Joker). So now that I know I’ll have a classic blue in the collection, I may wait to see if this guy gets a black cape/cowl variant.
I've been thinking about that Spawn Compendium review you did ever since you posted it. Yesterday, I went down to my LCS and picked it up. You got into my head man hahaha!

From the Art Deco graphics on the box to the absolutely, sensational Spawnesque cloak, I really can't fault It. My only gripe would be the exclusive 'difficult dump' portrait. Mightily impressive! Another winner from SS.

I dug the prototype pics. The profile of the collectors portrait is the strongest I've ever seen on a statue. The eyes are much larger in the video than the original reveal pics. If he scales well with The Joker PF I have, I may consider ordering or hope a local retailer brought it in.

I'm not feeling that cape being so long and I agree, that face portrait does come across a little too dark. But all that being said, this is my favorite version of Batman.
