Thank you for reviewing this instrument.. I just bought one prior to seeing this review..So pleased to hear that it is good for the price point.. I am just learning, and previously bought a very cheap crappy one, but after borrowing a very good quality from a friend, realised how rubbish mine was.. Looking forward to receiving my Stentor Graduate soon..
I have been looking at this particular model for a while and I am very pleased that you took the time to review it. I appreciate your insight and, as a result, have enabled me to make a decision with regards to the purchase of the Stentor Graduate violin... Thanks again.
A hydrometer is not just needed to keep your gut strings in tune. It would even be useless, because the room you play the thing in would affect it more during playing (nightmare). It's for storage and if the air is bone dry it can damage the instrument. The wood can crack and the glue becomes more brittle if the air is too dry. That's why they sell those tubes to put in your case too keep the air humidity on a reasonable level.
Yes it does. It comes with two strap options, you can strap it on the side like a shoulder back or strap it like a backpack and have it on your back. It's very versatile.

Hello,
I would like to ask a question about the case. Does it have some kind of a strap to hang it on the shoulder?
Thanks in advance!
