I always used a Wheel, now I have a DD. You have to setup the wheel properly, but afterwards you need to setup the car aswell. People keep changing wheel setting without knowing that the issue is the car they are driving! Yes with the wheel there is TOTALLY no steering wheel assistance, not like controllers, those have steering assistance .

Possibly a bit late to comment but it looks like when the back end steps out you're over correcting the slide on the wheel. On a controller there's a certain amount of counter steer assistance. You don't get that with the wheel. When you counter steer put a bit less lock on and return the wheel to straight earlier than you think you should.
The g920 isn't a bad wheel to get you started but like you say the brake isn't that good, although it's something you can get used to. I got given a thrustmaster tx wheelbase and bought myself the tlcm pedals. So much better than the g920. Even though its still not a DD wheel the FFB is much better and the load cell brake is a total game changer.

Wheel Settings are going to be a major impact on how you feel or play the game. I started on wheel for the first time back in March, and yeah it was horror, I've been steadily working to improve since then. Hoki Hoshi has a really good video breaking down the settings, and giving you a good starting point. But if this is your first time on wheel, my best advice is, to try some other games. Forza's settings are... complex, but lets you kind tune the feel however you like it. Games like Asseto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Comptizone, iRacing, and Automobilista 2 (all on PC) have different, but more dedicated wheel gameplay. Find what you like from anyone of those, and then it makes tuning forza settings to respond similarly a lot easier because you'll start to know what you're experiencing and looking for in the FFB. Once that's all said and done, Car setups are going to be different . I thought those RWD tank slappers were due to FFB or control issues, and they are in part, but the average controller setup is way more Oversteer tuned than what I personally feel is controllable on wheel. On wheel you have a lot more information to the limits of the front end of the car, so what I tune for is a slightly understeery setup and use trail braking to induce oversteer. Hope all that helps. You can hit me up on Xbox or discord if you want any other help.

Also, it sounds like your brake pedal is modded, be sure to calibrate your pedals in their software for where you want your dead zpne and max throttle to be, and then you can further adjust deadzones in the forza settings as well

@@BOL_KAV Also this amkes sense since you're on console. What you should do is hop into a test drive session with your telemetry up, and then adjust your, I think it's called, "Upper Deadzone" for your brake pedal so that when you have it mashed down as firmly as you feel you can consistently manage you hit 100% brake pressure, and then the lower deadzone so that when you're off the brake it isn't being applied. You can then do the same thing for the throttle to make sure you're getting the full range

Dude, the last time we played together, I was just getting started on a wheel and sucked. Now you know why 🤣
Which wheel model do you have? I have the Logitech Pro Wheel and Logitech Pro Pedals and use them on an Xbox Series X. My wheel is considered a Direct Drive wheel and its settings may not work well if you have a different Logitech wheel. My wheel base and Forza Motorsport settings are shown in this video: ruclips.net/video/IKXB1tpYgew/видео.html
For the pedals, they probably aren't meant to be pressed down 100%. If you turn off ABS, then you only have to press it down close to 75%. If you do 75% or above, the wheels will lock. It takes getting use to but I prefer it now that I'm use to it. Makes trail braking much easier IMO.
Johnathan Burnham aka Kaylos has a video going through all of the wheel settings. His wheel is a different brand and model and I don't think his wheel is a Direct Drive wheel. So, if your wheel is a different model than mine, you should try his settings. His video gives really good explanations for each wheel setting in Forza Motorsport, so it is a great watch regardless. It is located here: ruclips.net/video/TbfpFfJadAY/видео.html
He provides an update to his FFB settings here: ruclips.net/video/eTSZup2mFI0/видео.html
I hope this helps bro. Let me know what model the wheel is and I'll do my best to help you sort it out.
