Humble brag but I just moved to a house on the river (actually, it’s intracoastal therefore salt/fresh mix). I’ve suffered from depression for years but ever since moving here I have felt SO much better. There’s just something about it. It’s so calming and beautiful. Highly recommend!
There are so many good WW2 fiction books that are good: The Girl From London, The Champagne War (anything by Fiona McIntosh is good), The Three Lives of Alix St Peirre by Natahsa Lester (any book by Natahsa Lester really)
