I am a Husqvarna Viking boy, but this machine keeps calling me. Quilting is my jam but lately I've gotten into home goods and art quilts with my new embroidery machine. This machine is just beautiful and the features are a dream!
I have this Pfaff and I absolutely love it! Question: I am doing Amelie Scott's edge-to-edge. I need to move my needle to an exact point BEFORE I begin the design. Even though I've used a template the starting point is not exactly where I want it. How do I do that? Thank you very much. (I tried Precise Positioning, but it seems that is used to go back to a design after I've taken it out of the hoop.
You are correct in using your Precise Positioning. This moves the design to the correct location and can be trusted for its accuracy. When you are done and move to embroidery, the needle will automatically move to where the design tells the machine to do so. This is not necessarily the first stitch of the design, but rather the center of the hoop. If, for example, the first stitch is really at the very top right of the hoop, then you may want to advance your stitch (where you can go backwards or forwards in a design) to stitch #1 and then the machine would move the needle over that position.
O my you are the one who helped me last night with my creative icon.

Hallo from Greece I want to buy an extension table for performance icon! Does the ctreative icon extension table fits the performance too??
What are the dimensions of this machine?
Its as ugly as hell. I like minimalism but not the abrupt curves on these newer machines.
