Gotten up to 8 chains trying to go over a herald but still ended up all negated. The happiness I got from this video is peak and you have made my day.
Dont try to outresource it! Set up a way to out it that's chainblocked, since it can only respond to the most recent effect in the chain. Try using a trigger effect that activates in the GY along with Knightmare Cerberus or Unicorn.
The problem is they can negate the summon of the knightmare to prevent that.

When your dueling and your opponent takes longer than 2 minutes to finish their turn:

The only time my turn has ever been less than 2 minutes is cause of Maxx C
I do not mind long turns if the opponent is doing things but some people take longer to summon 3 times and set a couple of cards than a full blown combo deck I get annoyed.
@@Dhaydon75 those are the people that suck at the game so they look up meta decks, but they still have to read all their card effects when “dueling” because they don’t know what their doing

Had a drytron player lock me in a duel for over an hour. I had skill drain on the field so he spent the entire duel getting back the exact same cards just to realize he still couldn't use it's effects on the field. Only to forfeit 30 seconds from me winning. I've never had such a rage inducing duel in my life

I play Drytron and i almost never surrender usually i let the other player finish me off, besides watching other decks full combo helps me understand how they work so i can come up with ways to counter them also i read every card that i c that i dont already know

The most horrible monster of drytron is the level 12 ritual monster : *Herald of Ultimateness* Which look like a disco ball with a wing

Drytron players deserve this, playing a turn that takes 20mins then usually surrender in 1min when their field got solved by droplet or kaiju...
No dry player surrenders on kaiju. They got the 2 oranges they searched through the combo still in hand plus their recovery is great.

@@mapleseallux he wasnt even talking about negating a kaiju as his comment was about that even if a drytron board gets kaiju'd you still have 2 negates in hand plus recovery but because your first instinct is to insult i didnt expect much comprehensive skills from you!
Kaiju is not a huge problem, I won a few games recently with my herald tributed by a Kaiju, I was still able to recover and win the duel.
In a drytron-fairy deck Herald is the plan A, but Zeus is the plan B, and Natasha is the plan C. Fair enough to turn the table multiple times.

I recently fought against a Relinquished Deck with my Blue Eyes Deck. At first it was really tideous and annoying but later I developed respect for the other duelist as it was a real back and forth and it wasn't clear who was going to win .
My opponent later failed to summon any new monsters though so I won the duel by attacking them directly.
Sad thing is Drytron could've still won had he read your cards effects, if he actually played drytron deck and not just a Herald summoning bot.

The funny thing about this that isnt shown here is that the Drytron player ritual summoned not one but TWO Drytrons (the second summonned using the first one...), which is why there was even a copy of it in the graveyard...

None of this would be happening if Drytron's Ritual Spell didn't enable ALL Ritual Monsters to be summoned from it.
If it just allowed any Machine Ritual Monster (4 of them atm) it could still scale in power later on without summoning completely busted stuff like Ultimateness.

Shutting down some decks with millennium eyes restrict is the second most fun I've ever had in this game, next to using the legendary exodia incarnate against a traptrix player and watching him activate like 5 traps before realizing that they weren't gonna do anything.
Ngl I dislike Exodia decks. Even "winning" against them feels empty cause there was no fun in it.

I think drytron is a cool archetype, it's herald that's the problem. That card really doesn't seem future proof at all, as proved by drytrons being able to turbo it out so consistently.

Nah, just hit it like with the TCG. It's the unli-cost that's the problem, not Herald itself since it was supposed to play with limited hand resource in mind. It was even a joke card when it came out, it's just Dryton really is too much of a good engine for Discoball.
Banning Herald would be a good start, and his smaller form too
Guys the problem isn't Herald. The problem is Eva being abused to generate the hand resources Herald needs to keep negating.

Coming back to this video to say that I got HEAVY anxiety when I saw Golden Eyes Idol in a duel.
Almost all my monsters are boss level ATK, so the risk of getting the G O O D S U C C hung over my head for the whole duel.

I’ve been trying for a while to make Relinquished work, from pairing him with Kuriboh to Subterrors. But I think I found a great pairing: Kaijus. They’re perfect. I made it, and it works amazingly well on MD. I call it my Relinkaiju deck :)

Ngl, Kaijuu/Relinquished Deck is a good one as long as you splash it with good floodgates or hand traps to even out the deck.
That’s like the most basic version of relinquished you could have ended up with.

Who plays Relinquished Deck like me and what deck type of Relinquished you play? Mine is either Toon-Relinquished or Invoked Succ as the former is a good combo with Comic Hand that also steals monster and the latter makes their graveyard your property.

I play Drytron from time to time, and this is still cathartic as fuck.
I used Super Polymerization to wipe a Drytron's entire field only for them to rebuild the whole thing next turn with 2 cards in hand. Not a "busted deck", yeah no way no how...
Yeah, Dryton engine is the problem, not Herald. Ultimateness is akin to a gun. Not strong without ammo. Dryton is the ammo. The problem? It's infinite ammo.
Sadly it’s a good counter only when it’s on the field already. I tried using a relinquished deck on another player but he already had his ultimateness ritual monster on the field already.
