That's one impressive clock they've got in the beginning, though it's missing some characters that'll make it more animated. Like have Fester with the iconic light bulb in his mouth, Thing popping in & out of the box, Kitty roaring on top, and Granny mixing one of her potions.
Fester didn't have his electric powers in the movie at this point, he gets them by being hit with lightning at the end. And Granny IS on the clock, at the very top, that's what that little whisp of smoke is. She's at her cauldron up there.
I wouldn't care if the Addams family were witches, vampires, or humans. All I know is, I have a really crazy thought in my head that I really want to be part of the Addams family.
The Addams Family home is actually a really nice house tho. It has good bones. Something like this would fetch a pretty penny easily, it wouldn't matter how the decor looks. You'd definitely have to pay a fortune to get a genuine gothic mansion no matter how dreary.
Charles Addams lived in New Jersey as a kid and he was surrounded by homes like this. That was where he got his inspiration. And yeah. Those houses are NOT cheap, especially since his work made them more famous. You're lucky to get your hands on a real Victorian.
