This makes me want to start daily logs. Lots of room for writing and for having fun. I like to include photo memories too so will give that a try! Thanks Kayla ❤

Bullet journals are better for me than a regular planner. I don’t have much to do in the day so making something smaller is so much better for me. I’ve always love your stickers and videos. I’m so glad to be watching this. ❤

I’ve been wanting to get more into writing again but I’m seeing that having a planner separate from a journal/diary is more complex for me so I think bujo would be better for me however the decorating & setup of a bujo seems to be a lot for me as welll but you’re showing me that I just need to start somewhere for having a better setup that’s going to work for me

I love this video, just what I needed. I’ve been bullet journaling for a few years. No one ever told me to create a daily log 1 day at a time until I see what works for me. I’ve wasted so many pages and cut stickers creating a whole week only to find out by Tuesday that late out doesn’t work for me.

I stopped using my bullet journal because I didn’t have the time to make them but I’m glad to see you posting something other than the live stream

This is so helpful and much less intimidating than some other videos I've watched. I love how you show that it's okay to lean on stickers (this is appealing because I can't letter and my artistic skills are mediocre at best) to keep things interesting and fun. This video is also super great for those of us who are intimidated by "setting it all up" at the beginning. I'm going to start mine as a way to do some personal record and memory keeping of our homeschool, and I'm a reverse planner through and through... I'll probably fill out my index as I go or at the end. 😅 Also hoping this will help me remember to do those less frequent household chores that I never seem to get to. All that said, thanks for showing some cute accessible options for the overwhelmed and/or less artistic people who are interested in bullet journaling. 💜

Glad to see you posting videos other than lives again, it’s easier for me to watch a shorter video and I love you planning style!
Do you have an affiliate link for that mini calendar stamp? I love my habit trackers as calendars but hate writing them all out ! 😅

Wish I had found this when I was in college. I had always carried journals for creative writing, but tried using it to also keep track of homework, groceries lists, appointments, etc. They always became so unorganized and cluttered I could never find what I wanted after a day or so, they'd get filled up half way then I abandoned it and got a new one. I have a dedicated writing journal now, but haven't been tracking really anything else. My apartment is clean, I'm healthy and professionally successful, but damn it was a struggle, and I'm still struggling to get stuff done now because I actively don't write my tasks down. I also love how this doubles as a scrap book, and can keep memories, which I've always WANTED to do but could never justify spending time on. 2025 here we come, time to get into this.

Newbie here, I have been wondering, how do you keep track of what is upcoming for the next month if you haven’t put that month in the journal yet? Do you a page where you keep track of future dates? It is one of the things holding me back from fully switching over to bullet journals. Thank you in advance for your time.

Hi, try watching the video I linked below from Kayla, which shows a "future log". That's typically what you put in the front of a new journal. Hope that helps and that you'll end up using a bullet journal regularly. It's super fun. ruclips.net/video/5welsLdZHzQ/видео.html

The "future log" is what you're looking for. It works great for people that are paper planner only. On the other hand, many people keep future plans in a digital calendar, which is useful if you need to share your calendar with others.
