Hi, It does look like a new bag. I just received my old Model Delightful MM back today 4/19/21 from LV for repairs on the two side strap replacement tabs, price was $120.00 for both sides. I was very impressed that I received a brand new box and large drawstring dustbag. It took about a month and 9 days. Great video.
Did you get it done at the store or through the website? When I got some repair done at the store sometimes the sale associate put it in a box for me and other time I had to ask for a dust bag it’s a hit or miss. They do a great job with their repair. I had my Saint Cloud Gm leather sides replaced and they charged me the same amount $120 I guess that’s the price for that kind of repair but it was all worth it.

I watched part one and the strap it’s actually the same as the original but the D-ring inside the bag it’s something new they added . I went to the LV website and the new Noe bucket bags have a D-ring so I’m guessing that’s why they installed a D-ring in my bag I see that as upgrade.
Wow what a beauty it’s definitely worth the wait and they always give Noe bags a special string dust bag which is great. I’m so happy it’s back to your possession and you can use it again, they did an amazing job on the repair it looks brand new (like you just purchased it few days ago.).I have a petit noe now I want the Noe 😩, I love it and definitely a classic 💕
You have inspired me to have the vachetta replaced on my bag. I have a preloved Noe I purchased around 2006 and I have been embarrassed to use it because the top trim has some leather cracking and the drawstring is really dark. It's been sitting in the closet all this time. Your before and after videos are great and thanks for posting. I sent an email to Louis Vuitton to send mine in for repairs. How long does it take for them to respond to you? Mine is old, no date code, and has Louis Vuitton Malletier stamped on the side instead of Made in France. The monogram fabric is intact, and the bottom is fine, but the leather can use a facelift. Thx.
It takes a couple days for them to respond you can always call to make sure they got your email. Good luck let me know if you are able to get it repaired. I’m glad my video was informative.
I didn’t notice but it doesn’t matter to me because as soon as I started using the bag outside it started to get that tan the vachetta gets from being expose to the sun and I like that honey petina color.
I never noticed till later I looked back at photos and videos from the previous strap and you are right it was detachable I just never noticed before. Thanks for watching.

No I was afraid to spray apple guard I did in the past with another bag and I didn’t liked I prefer the natural petina so far it’s turning into a beautiful color. I do check the weather to make sure I don’t take it out on a rainy day. They did remove the date stamp but I have pictures and videos saved for my records. I also have the email from LV that says that they don’t used a date code to authenticate bags. I have all the paperwork from the repair and the bag it’s under my profile repairs. The new bags don’t come with the date code anymore. They do microchip k no is date code will be a thing of the past very soon.
Mercari it was a long time ago but I ask a lot of questions and extra pictures and she did offer the authenticity inspection which gave me a piece of mind.
I am thinking of doing this only because the rim vachetta is falling apart. I really love the original vachetta so I am debating. Your bag is beautiful! Is there any downside to replacing all new leather?
I want to get my Noe repair but I has a very small crack on the top . I’m scared they won’t repair it . I never gotten anything repair . Do you suggest me going in person or doing online ?
I think now they do virtual option online too I haven’t had anything repair in a while. If the crack it’s in the canvas they won’t touch the bag. Even if you do it online the bag will get inspected again for a second time by the Atelier and his the one who makes the final decision of the bag can be repaired or not.
I contacted the Louis Vuitton repair center and they send me the paperwork and the shipping label to sender to the repair center. I only do my repairs with LV. Thank you for watching.
All repairs are paid before they shipped back to you. If you do it online they will invoice you for the payment after you make the payment you will receive and email with the ups tracking number. If you do it in store you will receive and email also and you go to the store and make the payment before receiving your bag.

Thanks for this. Hey - did you notice that the vachetta they replaced it with is sllghhhtly darker than the original 'whiter' vachetta? Just curious.

They will take away the date code so make sure you take pictures of it for your own records. The Date code it’s in the vachetta.

All repairs are paid before they shipped back to you. If you do it online they will invoice you for the payment after you make the payment you will receive and email with the ups tracking number. I believe believe you have 90 days from the day you get invoice to paid after 90 days it goes into some special storage until you can paid for it.
