Had confirmation today that my Solidor composite slam lock door cannot be guaranteed draught proof. Air comes through the bottom locking mechanism and can be felt a considerable distance from the door. Disappointed to say the least.
I bought a new door made in Northern England for around £2,500. The screws pulled out of the frame. I notice the frame is the same profile as the one here. Do your research otherwise you'll find out why the awful industry has to have a trade body insurance before anyone will buy from them.
I'm thinking maybe you mean Watford is that northern enough or do you mean Watford gap either way they are both north of Rye Harbour so i suppose the screws fall out of everything for people down Rye
As others have posted, avoid Solidor like the plague. Very poor product and customer services is non existent, even though they state all the bullshit promises on their website.

Watch out if you buy solidor they swell in summer leak when it rains so plz keep away from this company or have a nightmare so beware.
