    Ip Chee Keung is my training mate during the time when he is about 15, still skinny, I have
    been trained after office work , there was no body but only him, D Chong was the only way
    to do. I remembered that every body called him "Iron man" , non-stop training with every coming students, one day, he was fainted after finished D Chong with me . There is no
    meaning I recalled this to him, I just let him know that I "大力鄺" still in Canada, still admire Chow Kar Tong Long, I think he still enjoyed and remembered me. Now I am teaching Qi Gong & Tai Chi Chuen in Canada at Scarbough Town Centre . But when I am playing Tai Chi , my mind is still playing Tong long . For fighting concept, Tong long technique can
    apply to Tai Chi Chuen .
    Sifu Chee Keung , You are great, continue , cheer up !

    Amazing demonstration of internal power, from this very skillful system of Kung Fu

      So where does he show the internal power here?...yes, it's in the form, but where's the actual demonstration of it?

    Sam Bo Jin - Does this not translate as "three power strike"?
    I only see him make two forward attacks on the release phase. Punch(1), uncoil fingers, Finger Strike (2).
    Can you please explain where is the 3rd power? Surely Sifu has cleverly hidden it somewhere ;-)
    Thank you

    • @lynxord
      @lynxord 9 лет назад

      Hamking1 It's a rough translation but I've heard three arrow fist or three spear fist... whatever the case it should be 3. But this is one of the best Sam Bo Jin videos I've seen on here.

    • @lynxord
      @lynxord 9 лет назад +4

      Hamking1 Actually after look at this again. I would assume it's more about repeating that process 3 times than it is about 3 different kinds of strikes.

    • @Hamking1
      @Hamking1 9 лет назад

      lynxord That's a mighty big assumption you're making there...

    • @lynxord
      @lynxord 9 лет назад +3

      Hamking1 How is that a mighty big assumption? Look he repeats Charp Sou 3 times each direction. The form includes many more than 3 types of striking. Charp Sou, Gar Sou, Ngarp Sou, Ngarp Dai Sou, even Tung Sut and probably others I'm forgetting about.

    • @HarryFrenchRoom24Gaming
      @HarryFrenchRoom24Gaming 9 лет назад +3

      Hamking1 Actually Lynxord is correct, its about the three forward Phoenix strikes.

      The San Chin does come from this.

    • @orionbassmaster666
      @orionbassmaster666 8 лет назад +2

      +wahneeota yup , great observation , being an uechi ryu student who attended few chow gar & Haung Gar seminars , the breathing and internal aspect are very similar since all okinawan karate school possess a chinese connection ( especially with southern styles) due to the trading routes and cultural exchange.

      Yes - they are both Southern styles and both fight at close distance.
      However Mantis is a hard style and Wing Chun is soft.

    This is incorrect or very basic, in kungfu there is no muscle tension, because that blocks the chi and sung without which kungfu loses its whip like strikes.

    • @RS-xx9ve
      @RS-xx9ve Год назад +1

      Nope. Its a hard Qi Gong exercise. However the system is INTERNAL and has soft AND hard Qi Gong drills. A snr exponent would be able to do all of the approaches of say, a Tai Chi snr exponent. The shock power in SP Mantis looks very light, very fast but very powerful just as those from soft Qi Gong styles would do.

      Kung Fu is not a name of a martial arts style/system....it is a genetic term used in the west for 100s of different Chinese styles and they do not all have the same mechanics some are very hard and some like taiji very soft.
      Many Chinese styles don't even believe in chi nor practise chi. Your comment is only true if your speaking about taijiquan. Lol
