My knees actually went weak at the scene where he BREATHES her in and asks her if she knew all the ways he could seduce her...all the things he could teach her. Anthony was madly and desperately in love with her soul, body and spirit. He wanted everything to devour it completely and the idea that he couldn't was maddening.

Season 2 was so good! So much better than season 1 (which was already great). Jonathan Bailey is PERFECT as a Regency gentleman. He gave me serious Darcy vibes ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@@Lambargaux I know she’s already played Elizabeth Bennet in P&P vs zombies but I think Lily James would be wonderful in a new classic adaptation of P&P. And with Jonathan Bailey, I think they’d have a great chemistry 😍

All of their scene are freaking phenomenal, the chemistry is beyond the charts. Their intense gaze, the way they breathe each other and look at each other, the way they would touch each other so softly yet making it look like they're touching fire.... is just maddening. The scene where he asked why does she dislike him is my ultimate favorite. The way he spoke those words to her with such a deep captivating voice and breathed in her ears was just out of this world, I literally started screaming and couldn't even breathe for a second... I had to stop watching, go out and breathe some fresh air and collect myself. This season is far better than season 1, it's more enjoyable and dynamic because of these two. I'm gonna re-watch it till I remember every detail of their story.

They were staring at each other intensely before they started talking. And during the talk Anthony asked her, “do you want me to reconsider a proposal to your sister?” Kate was like, “it doesn’t matter what I want”. The man was ready to declare Kate his woman right on the dance floor! And he got pissed off that the bane of his existence and the object of ALL his desires was going to head back to India! 😂 What were you thinking, Anthony? This season was perfect ❤ I love them with all my heart, their story is so powerful, intense, beautiful. I wanted more scenes with them, I wanted to see their wedding 😢 more scenes with Newton and less scenes about Lady Featherington/Lord Featherington and their evil schemes

Am I the only one who thought the girl who played Kate didn't act that well. I think Edwina was really good but maybe it's me or maybe Anthony gave such a killer performance that it just took my attention away from her. I really wish she could match his intensity. Sorry I don't know their actual names
Her role required a different sort of intensity, she was meant to be more reserved and subtle. If you realise all of Anthony’s heated monologues wouldn’t have worked as well if her response was as fiery. She showed her interest and love differently.
