Yeah I agree. I would even go so far as to say a stupid choice of words. I was expecting the boy to say "OH HELL NO!", "I don't want these two idiots as my parents!" or something equally disturbing. That would break them.
That’s beautiful I wish them well I’m sure the boy will grow up with all the love from his parents. I was given away when I was 3 yrs old but not legally. I know my real parents but they don’t really care about me & the couple who took care of me did not also legally adopt me so when I was kid I didn’t really know where I belong. Im grown up now & with my own family and both my biological parents & the people who took care of me were all gone but sometimes I still remember my childhood without a true parents. Fortunately Through my hard work and prayers I became successful in my career and found a man who love me the first time I feel of being love & very supportive my husband.
When My ex-friend was my friend she told me “I feel bad for kids who are adopted” I thought she was being kind then she said “because they will never have a real family” if your adopted and someone ever tells you that let me tell you that’s a lie because your family isn’t just blood family are the people who are there for you and want you in there life
Diana Reid adoption is a blessing! My daughter was shaken at 6 months old by her sperm donor while her bio-mom got high. She finally came to me at 2 and a half years old weighing 18 lbs. She's 28 now and that girl is my heart. She's permanently disabled because of her bio parents. They would have killed her if she wasn't taken away.
This is the story I love to hear! With so many children placed in unloving care, watching this beautiful couple take an innocent soul, fight to adopt him, gives me hope! Many blessings for this good couple!
+Kourtnee Hack and it might not work out how he thinks tho a lot of kids have a fantasy of their birth parents and are let down in the end especially in a foster to adopt situation why do u think he was in foster care in the first place, not really sure what the point of your comment was exactly or why u r doing a laughing face
+Kourtnee Hack He might, but his adoptive parents will always be his family. We adopted our son and when the laws changed and soften a bit, he was able to find his birth mother and they met very recently. I was very happy that he did. I always wanted to thank her from the great son she gave us. Now, perhaps, I will be able to do just that. I can't wait for that day! But, guess which family will be attending his wedding?
Den Lair, tho I'm well advanced in years, I'm so thankful that my aunt and uncle raised me. They let me know from my youth who my real parents where, but from what I personally saw how he (my real father) treated his family I was so thankful and proud that a loving couple desired to raise me. And at my wedding my mama and my daddy where there, those are the one's who raised me and the words that my biological mother said to my mama where vile and obscene! But I was raise to honor your father and mother otherwise I think my response would had been slightly disturbing. True love, compassion and forgiveness will hold a family together!!! I tear up even now because they where the only true Mama and Daddy I had!!!
Everything, everything in this world is about love. Or should be anyway. I won't wish joy to the parents as the joy they have is shining out of them like sunbeams. They make a beautiful family and I wish them health and happiness. God bless you. Love from England. x
I have crohns disease too. I was one of the youngest people to be diagnosed along with my older sister. My sister has two children but my illness caused so many other complications that at 40 I'm terminal and I'm mostly bedridden. It brings me such joy to see this family adopt their gorgeous boy. I fostered kids but couldn't get pregnant. I now appreciate the small things and I have a strong mind so I fight every day. God bless this family.
Vanessa Odoardi you must be right I mean who wouldn't joke about being terminally ill. I know that you won't be able to resist responding so congratulations on having the last word.
GOD BLESS THEM! My grandparents adopted me and my two little brothers. I had taken care of the two from when I four. Our parent's were on drugs, and fought constantly. The only time we got breaks were when on weekends we went to our grandparents (on my dad's side) for Saturday and going to church on Sunday. I don't remember allot of things from my childhood, my mamaw (now my mother) says my mind blocked them out, due to stress, anxiety and fear. We lived with our grandparents for four years before they adopted us. I remember running down the hall with my brothers, singing that we were adopted. It was one of the happiest days of my life. Of course I loved my parents, even though they had hardships they loved us. Two years ago on mother's day mom died due to an OD, Over Dose. One year ago on April sixth my dad died of the same reasons. My grandparents, and my aunts (dad's sisters) said he hasn't moved for days, but even when he passed he lifted his hands, and opened his eyes, as if he saw the pearly gates of heaven. I wish I could say I didn't struggle with my parents death, but i was only 13 so of course I did. Espesaly my mother, as I said, we were sure dad was saved, but not mom. I prayed, begging for God to give me an answer, so I could know if she was at rest. One day my cousin had a dream. Mom and dad were in heaven, with other loved ones that had passed. They were praising God. Tha ts when I knew, they were both up in heaven with God, I was so happy. I praise and thank God every day for that. I miss my parents, but I'm so glad they dont have to suffer anymore. AMEN FOR ADOPTION AND GOD!!!
Well congrats. Teach the child and trained him while he is young you do not know what the child will become when he grows up do train him properly, proper attitude compassion, kindness, humility. And to love and respect other people.
Anthon, So sorry to read you are sick. Hope you are doing better. There is always something to fight for. Something good, that especially you can give like no other. Go fight for it. Make this world a better place to live in, just because you touch people with your words of encouragement, and maybe sometimes correction.
Your body could definitely handle it! I have cystic fibrosis and rheumatoid arthritis and after a year I as finally able to get pregnant! You have to be very in control and on top of your health care but don't give up! 💖
I’m adopted myself so when I saw this it made my day because it’s so hard to explain to people that were a family through love not through if we look like a family or through blood but through love. It’s not just hard to get the point across to class mates or people that we meet in public but even to my own uncle. So seeing this just makes my heart melt.💗 I have another adopted sibling he’s my brother. He’s older then me by 1 year. I have always wanted to give birth to at least one child and to adopt at least two children. If I can’t have a child when I’m older It would affect me but I wouldn’t try to have a procedure to try to have a child I would just adopt. I believe that there needs to be more people out there that should adopt a child not for money or so that they can feel loved but because they love that child and because they want to give them a forever home and loving parents.
Adoption is good when the patents are really willing to love the kids and protect them from anything, even the people around them (family members, friends) who may not accept the kid just because is adopted and has not their blood.
I'm adopted. This is why people need to adopt instead of being selfish with playing God to be preagant. These children need loving parents like these parents were.
I am adopted, and I love my parents so much! I would not trade them for the world! Adoption is one of the greatest things! And what makes me mad is when people get angry at their adoptive parents for not telling them they’re adopted

Do you not understand that it's deliberate? "Family Adopts Boy, Then In Court Hearing, He Makes Them Proud" probably wouldn't get half as many clicks.
I read it on sc and didn’t get it so I came here
Why would anyone dislike this? Really!
