Do not eliminate the wall lights you need all the light you can get to see your face, and the girls will need to see themselves in the mirror, if anything, add more light, too bad, you didn’t have a double sink, but probably not in the budget
Big mirror and keep the light bar centered over the sink. Think about the lighting you will need on prom nights … overhead lights will not be conducive for makeup application and everyone will be fighting for mirror space. ☺️
It seems like the shelves in the John Deere room may be assembled backward, I think the tall board side should be against the wall. Big mirror, keep the wall light.
For the bathroom, I would add a second sink, add two matching light fixtures on the wall above the mirror.
go with the big mirror..you will be glad you did..you can center the lighting later if need be.
Definitely feeling the big mirror. No fights one is hogging the view. And you can see everything, plus’s it makes the room feel bigger and brighter. Love watching how the house is coming together, especially not having to lift a finger myself. lol.
no on the can lights in the bathroom as the girls will want the lights above their faces while putting on makeup. so lights above the mirror/s is my suggestion. consider three mirrors side by side with lights above each. you will also need major storage beside each mirror or between each mirror. two girls, lots of storage areas.
Big mirror in br…keep the light above sink and add another light (matching of course) next to the other one. Toys, my opinion… it’s time for the children to bless other children in need with their wealth. Love all you do!
I'd get rid of half of the toys. They dont need that many. They wont miss what they haven't played with or seen in months. I clear out my grandprincesses toys in their room at my house, I get rid of what they stop or never play with.
Isn't that an oxymoron...to add a swamp cooler that adds humidity to a place that is humid? I would not have thought that would be helpful. But if it works... fun times. Thanks for sharing.

I'm in the middle of a remodel of my entire house. In the bathroom, we put in a new light fixture that is centered over the sink. The mirror is framed to match the fixtures and is centered over the sink. It is wider than the mirror and looks great. If you need more mirror space, I would put in a matching decorative makeup mirror to the side.
Can i make a suggestion. Your children have an abundance of toys. Maybe have them pick 10 toys a piece to keep in the house,and 10 for your workout area if they are going to be out there while working out. Go through the rest of the toys and donate what isnt age appropriate to a womens shelter or daycare or sell on market place and give the kids the money for their banks to teach them to save a little for the future. Put some of the toys in totes for storage, and every couple of months, allow the kids to change out their toys, keeping that 10 for each child in the house. Our home when bought was 690square feet, two bedroom home with a boy and girl. We had to buy what we could afford,not what we wanted. When they got too old to share a room, we gave up ours and slept on a sofa bed for some time. Then we added on an 18×20 addition and was able to make a space a bedroom. I had to use this technique until they outgrew toys. I can tell you,they forgot about some of those toys in storage, and when it was time to change them out,you would have thought it was Christmas morning!
Would you consider horse stall mats for the gym? Helps with not destroying the floor should weights get dropped and easy mopping to clean.
Ha! Just saw Alecia beat me to it 5 seconds after I typed it. BTW, you need some kettlebells in there. lol
We are thinking of adding one more thing to the setup, an elliptical machine so Alecia can run again with low impact!

I think big mirror in the bathroom for the kids. And the center the light above the sink. You are making progress and you will be moved in soon!
The house is coming along nicely.....you may consider painting the shelf in Kaden's room either JD yellow or green depending on the wall you hang it on. (eg. Yellow wall - green shelf. Green shelf - yellow wall) That would give it a nice contrast against the wall.
I think you should start in one bedroom and just concentrate on it….get it totally finished so you feel some accomplishment!! Then move on to another room, working your way to the living room and kitchen!! I bet it just all feels overwhelming!
We work on things as it makes sense for what is going on with the plans! This is why we are working on the rooms now so we have a place that to sleep while we work on the other parts of the house! We are also still waiting on cabinets!

Blinds are great. You can open them as much or as little as you want. Can’t do that with curtains. They are even open or shut.
2 mirrors on either side of the light e with a medicine cabinet or shelves in the middle under the light?

Tint the windows. Easier than the blinds and permanent privacy.
Never considered tinting the windows! Wouldn't it make it dark in the house all the time?
@@PavingNewPaths depends on the tint. You could go a light tint there are reflective tint that are mirror like on the outside. Also will help keep the house cooler especially in Texas.
Making progress, congratulations! You could probably get a mirror for that wall above the sinks with the built in LED lights, just a thought. Looking forward to Kevin’s new video on his channel and of course, the next from PNP!
Finally on Sunday I can let the cat out of the bag what I have been doing with the trailer!
Big mirror. Also you really need to try the edger pad with rollers from Big Blue. It will really make life and edging easy.

Oh my! I've tried shortening blinds and made a mess. Great instruction Kevin!!! Your making huge progress! I'll be watching your trailer reveal, Kevin! By the way, that lawn is looking so much better! In the bathroom... how about some shallow cabinets out medicine cabinets for makeup or other girl stuff?

Kevin needs to add a second sink for all those peeps in bathroom. Light fix itself. Ps blue store starts with a W has cheapest 2 inch blinds, not mention larger size variety. Use a plaster knife protect the wall. Alicia needs stop coming up with projects and accomplish some those plans. Us women great at coming up with work
bathroom: center the new light figure over the entire thing. or, if you want to go crazy, put in two sinks & make it symmetrical to the countertop (also a bonus for two young girls who may eventually need sinks and mirrors more). then you can do two mirrors or one big one (lighting will depend on the mirror vs. mirrors choice). moving the light fixture will require moving the wire inside the wall, possibly requiring additional length to the wire; then a simple patch job to cover where the wires used to come out. adding a sink requires plumbing changes, a new countertop, and possibly a new vanity. i can't see from the video is there is enough open space for two sinks with the existing vanity.
I would run a mirror the length of the vanity. Add another sink and place overhead lighting for each sink. Tips on blinds, brilliant.

Shoreline paint tools makes a edger pad with wheels on it, but you are supposed to paint the ceiling first white and the corners, then go back and use the edge tool and roll it on the ceiling with the color paint, have been using one for years And my paint job look professional
2 sinks. 1 big mirror or 2 smaller mirrors. Longer light. Fix that light and fan switch, that's inconvenient.
Shoe rack pocket thing inside closet doors.
Overflow toys in the gym. Leave some toys at Phil an Lolo's.

Sorting toys would be my last choice. I would finish the rooms first set them up and then sort one room at a time
We are doing things that make the most sense for what is happening in our life! While sorting toys may not seem like the path you would take, it clears up space in other areas and is the right choice for the bigger picture!
Hey the house is looking good but two things what about the fence moving, and the well
We tested the water and you will see that soon! The fence will likely be moved in the fall when it's cooler out and we can do it with out having a heat stroke!
So we have huge picture windows at our house. The one that faces the road has the blinds, the three that face the back of the house don't have anything. Well, the bedroom has curtains. The birds are slamming into our windows too. You guys are doing great!

It sounds like some awesome ideas are happening! I see some suggestions of a second sink for the bathroom and light fixtures centered over the sink(s) and a big mirror. This sounds good, and I know you will brainstorm some on this. I can't wait to see! Great video!
