The episode roughly goes in the same order as the content in the book (and it's a fairly short book), but I appreciate your suggestion. I was aiming at a quick summary and didn't want to add in anything else that might make the video too long. Some other book episodes I've done added sections and it made it a little too long.
Thank you! This really helps me get a quick grasp of Tillich’s ideas, and motivates me to get his books to learn more deeply. I found you by searching YT for Tillich after enjoying Bishop Barron talk about Tillich’s “four marks of finitude”: time, space, embodiment & causality. This interested me because these seem to correspond to the basic quantities of physics, namely time, space, mass & energy, so it struck me as perhaps a metaphysical lens for appreciating Christianity, though I don’t know enough about these things to be sure. I love channels that are small now, and it looks like you may live in AZ as I do. I do love philosophy and am gaining interest in the philosophy of religion now. I’d love to maybe collaborate if you don’t mind a art collage dropout that nevertheless has some erudition in such topics because I’m a huge autodidact

I was just thinking very hard about this topic, and was making some headway into some ideas that are somewhat very similar to this thesis of Tillich’s
