Thank you Fr Altman and Caritas. I love hearing the homilies. I can't find a priest anywhere near me who comes even remotely close to Fr Altman in a homily. Last week the priest started his homily by talking about Catholics not giving enough $$. Gee, I wonder what causes that...
My parish priest said (proudly) that atheists give more money than Catholics and that atheists get divorced less than Catholics. I was ready to spit nails because all this particular priest talks about during most of his homilies are about is how he "was an atheist". What he fails to realize is that MOST atheists aren't going to bother to get married at all and as for giving more money I couldn't find a credible source to back that claim either. His goal was for us to fork up more money for yet another multimillion-dollar project...
I called my Cathedral last week to ask about Jubilee sites in my area and to now I haven't been given a response, but there is a HUGE letter from our bishop about how the new administration is evil. PLUS how for $4K you can go with him to Rome for a Jubilee pilgrimage. Our bishop is TERRIBLE he spends his time destroying nuns and taking their property, so of course, corruption is widespread in the USCCB I wouldn't expect anything different.

Lent is coming and I want to celebrate it in the TLM way. How can I do that? No TLM within about 50 miles and not sure they even do a Traditional Lent.
Thats disgusting. Knowing what they pay catholic school teachers that isnt even a livable wage which would benefit the faith so much more by having quality teahers who teach the faith and doctrine!!!!
