      It's what you get for using complexity compared to lego's build for technic sets. that why they had gaps on titans to minimize weight

    The best part is that you still keep the original feel and nostalgia, but upgraded to a point where it’s epic

    Using the hero factory canon top sections as lower leg armour is a really cool idea, I think everything flows together but personally I'd have used a more detailed chest region but regardless or the small tubes running throughout the build really nails the coolness of maxilos. Nice work on hiding the LED staff no idea how you managed that.

    My great grandmother gave me the Maxilos and Spinax kit when I was 6 or 7 for Christmas. Watching you revamp both of them brought good memories of her, thank you for that. Also, as all of your videos, amazing job.

    Dude...Bionicle content...is this 2007? I'm so happy. Bionicle youtube was were I grew up. So happy to see these old characters getting love

    AS someone who used to draw a bunch of de-legofied Bionicle designs back in the day I love when people do these little and big touch ups on the characters

    I’m so glad this popped up in my recommended. I use to love collecting the Bionicles, and it breaks my heart you can’t buy them pretty much anywhere now without paying a large cost. I hope they make a comeback one day.

    The tactical diver vibe you were able to convey is remarkable. The flippers and mask tubes really tie it all together.

    This is a very good bionicle toy, back when i was younger. I had a much simpler bioncle bootleg and when a kid threw it i beat em up. I love the toy very much

    This is awesome. Another really cool project could be a Bionicle-style armored titan from Attack on Titan. I think that would look awesome in your building style!

    I love these glow up videos for the bionicles. I always wanted to do something like this with my favorite old bionicle Axonn, but could never re-acquire it along with enough parts to realize my vision.

    love the artful blend of old and new pieces! the use of the technic cams to get around the funky geometry of the thigh is really clever. you're very talented, i'm excited to see what you build in the future!

    The anatomically accurate body is really incredible Mitch.
    I think it would be really cool, if you did a before and after weigh in of these characters. I’m so curious, and just based off my own experience with custom Bionicles, this build must be pushing over a pound!

    This is exactly the stuff kid me would imagine myself doing as I tried to "upgrade" my Bionicle's or other Lego sets. The envisioning here and ability to see work towards that final product here is insane, another amazing video.

    This channel gives of the same vibes of another one of my favorites, North of The Border (not a LEGO builder, but a clay modeller). The production/editing, the technique and sheer knowledge about LEGO (and obvious years of experience), the music choice, everything is on point. Really happy to have found your channel Mitch!     Another great video Mitch! It’s fascinating watching you put the build together, but I’m curious as to *why* you’ve made certain choices. Maybe a follow up video explaining some of the thoughts and techniques that went into the design would be an idea?

    DUDE, I had never thought of using the minifigure capes like that! Thats an awesome technique. One of many in this video, but that one stood out to me most. Cant wait to see more from you!
