This is so hard for me to identify through self reflection. I tested as a thinker in the past but it was very close. I believe in authenticity and honesty, and I can be objective. But I also want to protect people's feelings. When I must confront I do so carefully, with empathy. I value truth more than tact, but it is never either/or. Always both. And sometimes growth hurts. I believe in absolute truth and a standard of excellence. I also believe that every individual has their own journey and pace to reach those truths. I'm also a software engineer who has strengthened the logical part of my mind over time . I make pro/con lists... But I can pitch the results and go with what feels right in a moment.. and often do. As a parent, I make rules based on my principles, but my decide not to enforced them if I think it isn't fair to the child... Due to perhaps my failure to effectively communicate. In the end, I think I'm a very balanced feeler whose religion and personal values regarding truth and absolutes colored my answers on the test.
I hate incompetence and I value logic, but I do believe that everyone's opinions and feelings are valid. I also think that there isn't always one right answer, and I understand why someone might make a different decision than me on something based on their feelings. Am I a thinker or a feeler?
I’m absolutely beyond a doubt a thinker. In some social situation I don’t see the point with “shooting straight” because it causes more grief all around. Probably has to do with the “introvert part”? Most people dislike hearing things that contradict their worldview especially in casual or recreational settings. You get weird stares and uncomfortable silences - the air is thick with confusion or anger and nothing is accomplished. I’m too practical and like my peace far to much to do that in most offline settings. Even online the backlash and vitriol can be annoying, serving up controversial opinions to people who don’t understand the gray zone or nuance to certain topics.
As a thinker, we tend to focus on one problem at a time. Get that done, and move onto the next. We CAN use emotions and others opinions in the equation, but generally we use logic.
That’s a tough one for me. I think I am neither thinker nor feeler. Since thinkers tend to be objective and logical in decision making, and feelers prefer harmony and considering the impact on others. I tend to be very blunt and argumentative. Yet I make decisions more based on what makes me happy and I don’t like being objective. I’m also autistic and have adhd, so sometimes it’s hard for me to understand how my behavior affects others, unless they tell me directly.
@@michaelzheng4259 feeler because you say you make decisions based on whatever makes you feel happy perhaps your just argumentative because you have really strong values for the part being blunt both thinkers and feelers can be blunt at times
So, if i'm actually quiet blunt but i always keep it in my head most of the times because there is times that i let my mouth run loose and some people hurt, what am i then?
I feel that life has these random mixes of feelers and thinkers everywhere in gov at work in traffic and we all clash... even thinkers w thinkers and feelers w feelers cuz eveything also includes the ego of each individual
Feelers. Every person is an individual and as such should be respected.
I’m a thinker and I find someone beating around the bush with me insulting and annoying
I know I would hate if someone sugar coated to me or evaded the truth that’s a lie!
Thinkers common saying might be. "No hard feelings."
I'm more of a blunt feeler!

Mbti and especially this thinking vs feeling spectrum is a sham. Most of their definitions for things are arbitrary and somewhat contradictory.

I think we are balanced like a scale. Using both sides equally not one sided.
Thanks! I now now i'm a feeler. This question has been on my mind for a while 🙂
I am 100% a feeler. I always think with my ❤️ rather than my 🧠.
Dope
I'm a thinker, I love facts, data, and logic within almost everything.

INTJ “Justice is blind “
Excellent explanation. INTP here

I think I'm a feeler 'cuz I take things personally but my definition of fair is like being fair to everyone not to different individuals in a group.
If i am ever in doubt, I just spend time with loads of feelers, then I know... I aint one.

Do you think I sound more like a thinker or feeler?

Perfectly explained!
Definitely a feeler but can overthink sometimes
I really think I'm in the in the middle of the T and F I'm not 100% either one. Balanced between the 2 .
That's a great insight ❤
Helped me greatly❤
Why do you ask people to figure out which one they are? It's a spectrum. We are all both to one degree or another. Some of us can be equally both.
Thinker.
What about feeler and thinker two are together.
So, if i'm actually quiet blunt but i always keep it in my head most of the times because there is times that i let my mouth run loose and some people hurt, what am i then?
I also have this exact same question in my mind!!! (Someone plz answer this question) 🙏🙏🙏😓!!!
It depends on which you use more often, since you said you’re calm and rational most of the time I think you might be a thinker.
If you are looking for a yes man am not one
What is u mbti type
I loved this vedio. It helped a lot.
So yeah maybe dumb vdo leaving tht
