Soloed it fairly easy, just by waiting till the end of the match. Was doing a pistol only solo run for cash on normal, and just picked him up in the last 7 minutes.
Broken keycard is on the rocks, the big rocks that you would use if you were vyron, extract with the broken card and the event will give you 3 good cards

How did you get the key card for David?
It's on top of of a rock nearby. Extract with the broken card and the even will reward you with a good one.
How to get the card to open the door?
Where is the Diary part in the lab? I've ben trying to find it but kept getting killed
If you were to enter the labs area by going over the wall on the man lift. To the right just beyond the warehouse there are red crates. In that area.

@@Bored_AF_ i extracted the broken key from davids hideout and got nothing
@MouseSpart turn it in at the event section? If you are at that stage you should be able to claim 3 keys. You cannot skip the layali phases.
