BRO sooo good
You have some mistakes left in the video.
- "en" was spelled as ھپ which reads as "hep"
‐ you used the Arabic ي but Ottoman turkish uses the Persian ی.
-"çok" should be spelled as چوق
Aside from that it seems accurate.
Seems like you’ve covered everything except the Hamidiye March now!
Day 1 asking you to do "Stornelii Legionari"
Also, düşman should be spelled as دشمن and not دوشمان
For me, as a russian who was raised in an orthodox christian tradition, the Ottoman Empire is much like a very cool villain from a movie. You are obviously not on his side, but he is so badass and such a good character with his own story, motivation and style, that you love him nonetheless
❤ This was the best answer I've seen
Like Batman? Or Joker? Most heroes are villains in some way.
I think the same for Russians. Greetings from Turkiye!!

But we love Hagi and Romania we have no hatred for you 😃
@turkogluturk7981 I have no hatred for the turkish people. It was the empire I was speaking of. But this is in the past, right now we have no quarrels.

We turks weren't singing these, the ones who did the mehter were Janisseries, Turkified greeks of your lands. So, in a sense, your people actually had a greater role than us in this topic for a long time.
@@Critt_Aristill, they were Turkish in the sense that they spoke Turkish, were Muslim and fought for the Turkish nation. Calling them Greeks is a insult since these janissaries fought against them many times for the Muslim nation. So I don’t really think they are “their” people. No hate
@@Sigmar999 Janisseries were the de facto rulers pf the empire during the period between Suleiman's death and Mahmud the Second's Reformations. Even though they were from the Turko-Islamic tradition and had the balkan-anatolian culture of the Empire, this still doesn't make them Turkish as the house of osman themselves didn't really wanted Turks in their near as they were going to have the trauma of the Tatar betrayal of Sultan Beyazid during the battle of Ankara (known as Angora during those times) against Timur which lead to the captivity of the Sultan and the only Civil War the empire had, if we don't count the turkish war of independence, so they were afraid of Turks having positions higher in the government, which lead to the rise of Greeks, Bulgarians, Albanians, Serbians and Bosnians to higher positions. This made many balkan nations responsible of most of the administration and this trend would continue until the very start of 20th century with the young turks revolution and later the kemalist revolution.
I feel like as if I'm in the gates of Vienna, thanks for uploading this bro.
I have watched and listened to all your Ottoman mehter anthems battlefield covers. They're all really great and Im really proud of it as an Ottoman.
Greetings from Turkey. Thanks for this masterpiece. It made us to feel goosebumped. We have the respect who fighted for his country's freedom. Glory and honor upon them!

My Greek neighbor broke his window to hear this song better.
this original band was playing with Red Army in Russia about 15 years ago. maybe, ...but this is the greatest version ever .
As a indian Muslim i proud my ancestors who support ottoman caliph and block port city Mumbai after caliph appeal Muslims of India to revolt British Empire . thousands of british indian army soldier refuse to attack on Ottoman army .and revolt against Britishers so Britishers killed Muslim soldiers .many indian muslim womans send their jwellerys .even children send their toys to caliph for hijaz railway.

We know, what he's trying to say is that the closed captions have an Ottoman Turkish option.
Modern Ottoman Turkish and Modern Turkish nearly have no difference
yeah because "ceddin" is such a modern turkish word. idiot, learn your language
It used to be written in the arabic writing system instead of the latin one, and also had a lot more arabic words. Do they not teach you this stuff?
@@user-bv7zo6vd4m why does it matter which characters were used to write it? it word sounds the same, and has the same meaning.. which is your grandfather is your kin, and your father is your linage, that is the rough translated intended meaning of the lyrics. it is not used in turkish today to describe the same thing.
arabic or not, turkish or not, the lyrics to describe the same thing are not the same. this is archaic turkish and people will look at you with bewilderment if you use these old words.
Honestly Turkish should have kept its ottoman script. It was kind of rough around the edges, but a little bit of reform would have made it much better. Its not like it was much worse than say the english writing system.
The time was limited. Lots of things had to be done in little time. It was just after the World War and there were so many things to catch up. Literacy in the country increased immensely after the change of alphabet and educational reforms.
Ataturk had to make a lot of reforms otherwise something might have triggered turkish people such as ww2 would make turkish try to create ottomans again even the marches had to be changed
@@Bir_O5sad reforms
@@rcs5573 That increase in literacy had nothing to do with the reform though. We saw the exact same spikes in literacy in russia, Italy; syria, iraq and Iran around the same time: Sure, its true that the language change didn’t have a negative effect on this increase but trying to pin it on the reform is baseless.
@@dranflame_1236 It was mostly due to the educational reforms and the change of the alphabet helped it, the reason behind the change of the alphabet was to use a more suitable one for the Turkish language after some modifications. The former alphabet had many incompabilities with our language. Lack of sounds etc. Also the language went under simplification and "Turkification". The language used had many Persian, Arabic and French words (up to 88%). The Turkish equivalents started to be used. That's why we have so many synonmys today. We call the Ottoman Turkish " Palace Turkish", you can guess why. It had many borrowed words with complex structures, totally unintelligible by the common people who used raw/basic Turkish in their daily lives. It may be a beatiful version of our Turkish but it is completely useless in case of daily usage. It it same as using English words in between Turkish words today to sound better. While for us Turks with a very low english speaking percentage it may sound cool but an average person on the street would look at you like you are speaking alien.
